A disaster. NO negation skills, stay away from Remax in Trinity. Chase Bank referred me to D.J after speaking with him for a few minutes, he said he was going to have me work with his team member Hunter Viens and he would assist if needed, He failed to tell me that Hunter Viens had NEVER sold a home before, in fact he had just gotten his license, it would had been nice to know. So, we looked at a few house, one we liked in Homosassa FL, so we put an initial offer, and sellers don't budge so we move on. Hunter shows a few houses, some that are not livable and some he didn't have a code for. I had enough and wanted to get rid of D.J and Hunter so i told them i would find another agent, well in the PDF they had me sign in the initial offer they had snuck a contract till 12/31/25 so if i fired them i couldn't buy a home till 2026, and after asking D.J numbers of times to release me from the contract he refused. Since i didn't have a choice, we moved forward and found a house, well my GF found the house and we closed on it. There were a few things that needed to be repaired, roofing, electrical and a toilet. The seller did higher a roofing company and but did not hire an electrician to fix the electrical issues or a Plumer to fix the toilet. When i had asked both DJ and Hunter if the work got done, they said yes, but failed to make sure it got done by a license contractor. Now its January 1/20/26 my homeowner insurances dropped my converge and where is Remax or D.J or Hunter? no were to be found. Listen don't do what i did and hire armatures. I have all txt saved for and everything documented to explore options. Buying my first home was supposed to be a happy experiences, but in fact it turned out to be a nightmare.

We secured DJ as our realtor in March of 2023, and it was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. During the process, we had several families interested in our home- one of them being a work colleague of DJ’s. After researching some comps in the area, my husband and I wanted to list our home for $ 460,000 but DJ strongly advised us to list it for $450,000 but I remained firm and said $460,000. He advised me of this because we had an older AC unit, even though it was working fine and had received regular maintenance by (Air Hawk). We accepted his colleagues bid of full price of $460,000. Once everything was agreed DJ insisted that we give the buyer $5,000 back for an a/c unit that was working fine. We were not happy about this at all but kept advising us that this would be an issue with all buyers. Throughout the entire process, DJ was more concerned about his work colleague than his client. Another example of this is he had given his colleague the code to our garage and the buyer was entering the home prior to closing. We were already out of state and my neighbors contacted us when they saw his client’s going into the house. I called his office and was told it didn’t happen when I clearly had witnesses. We reluctantly sold our home for $455,000 in May and just 5 months later, the home was on the market for $471,000, with all my upgrades and no A/C upgrade. Good realtors are honest. They understand the market and are supposed to work in the best interest of their clients, not their friends. If you are considering using DJ as your realtor, save yourself the aggravation that comes from dishonesty and deception. Continue your search. You’ll thank me later.

I met D.J. by accident but it turned out to be the best accident. He showed me the beautiful condo I now own and sold my house in 2 days for over asking price. DJ is hands down the best around when it comes down to hunting down the perfect house in the local area. What we wanted was pretty difficult for the other realtors we tried working with before, they told us that there’s no way possible we would find what we were looking for in our first house. We called DJ that came HIGHLY recommended through some of our friends and within a couple days of hiring him we had found our perfect first home and the price we got it for was right where we wanted to be. I just want to say THANK YOU DJ for everything you’ve done for us. This guy will get you what you want at the end of the day.

DJ was very easy to contact, almost always answering the phone and if not was very quick to return my calls. He has great knowledge of the local area recommending restaurants and things to do in the area. He was great at finding and showing me properties that fit my specific needs/wants perfectly. DJ was also a great line of communication between me and the seller always keeping me informed of how the process was moving forward. I would HIGHLY recommend.
