As a former realtor for Re/MAX I had been very disappointed in the other realtors I have used since then - both as a buyer and seller. This is not true with Dave - he exceeded all of the expectations my husband and I had. He sold our house in 5 days after it had previously been listed with another MLS agent for several months. He totally handled our home inspection to do list and we did not have to find plumbers, painters, etc... and we paid a very very reasonable price for the minor work that was done. We could not have been happier with Dave throughout the process.

Great Realtor. Dave represented us when finding and buying a home in The Villages. Dave could not have been better from the initial consultation, to selecting and touring homes, to providing valuable advice on the offer/deal strategy, all the way through the closing process. He even helped us with a few things post-closing because we needed to head back up north.Dave is very knowledgeable in The Villages real estate market. He is also very knowledgeable with updating/improving homes. Dave routinely was able to provide estimated costs for various improvements/updates in real time while touring a home, along with offering creative suggestions. With most homes in the Villages needing some level of updating, this was REALLY valuable to us as buyers.Dave is very professional. We felt he was always looking out for OUR best interests even when those interests might diverge from his. I would highly recommend Dave as a realtor.

I met Dave when he came to my cousins home to help her with the sale of a relatives home. I mentioned to him that I was probably going to need the services of a realtor. That time did, indeed, come and David found the perfect home for me in two days. The transaction was as smooth as silk. Communication between Dave, the seller and myself were seamless and smooth. Dave even arranged to have the appropriate repairs made well before I moved in. I cannot recommend Dave highly enough! Well done!!!

Excellent realtor with in-depth market knowledge and great communication skills. Dave went above and beyond expectations as our agent in purchasing a home in The Villages, Florida. He knows this market very well and was able to quickly narrow in on homes that met our price, location, size, and layout needs. He guided us through an offer strategy, negotiations, inspection, and inspection follow up. Where Dave truly shined was after closing, where he identified contractors for repairs, left a lockbox on the house to facilitate contractor access, and followed up with us to make sure everything met expectations.I found Dave to be very honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking, and will definitely use him in the future for my real-estate needs. I've purchased many homes in my life and rarely found that my agent actually added value to the deal. Dave Monty brings a lot of value to his customers. We were purchasing this home sight unseen in a very hot market in May 2022. Dave's market knowledge and advice helped us find a terrific home that exceeded our expectations and was the perfect home to meet our needs. He provided a "Good, Bad and Ugly" video and commentary that represented the property well. We were able to make an informed offer and had no surprises after the purchase. We also decided to update the home, he and his wife Mary Jo provided advice and project management to get the home finished quickly and at the price agreed too. I can't say enough about the service Dave has given us. We were 15 hours away and the project went so smoothly, I would and probably will do it again. Dave was extremally professional and personable through out the entire process. We really trusted Dave to be our advocate and he was. When Dave sells a home, he approaches it like he's selling his own home. From the first walk through where he gave many suggestions for what we could do to sell at the highest profit to closing, Dave was 100% in. Dave proposed a plan of what we could do to get top money for the property, and he was right on the money. The 12K we put into making the improvements and changes that he recommended turned into 50K higher selling price! And he was there every step of the way (setting up contractors, overseeing work quality and even doing some of the things himself), while communicating regulary with us through calls, emails and texts. I highly recommend Dave Monty as your next realtor. You'll be glad you did!
