We met Gizo at a showing set up through Zillow. What great fortune for us. Gizo took the time to understand what we were looking for, and most important, sort through to get the top priorities. When selling our house, he helped us wait (a week) to get to the right offer. While buying he was very patient as we weren’t finding what was right, but also had us ready to quickly commit when we did. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in matching us with what we wanted. Over the years we have bought and sold houses 6 times across 3 states and dealt with a number of agents. Gizo tops the list.

Gizo and Elena are wonderful. We were new to the area and they helped us to find the house of our dreams in a very short time. To whom it may concern:My girlfriend, Sarah and I recently moved to Wausau to be closer to family. We both started new jobs and rented a house for a couple months to make sure we liked the area before purchasing a house together. When the time came, we went to a few open houses to start. Every broker/agent we ran into gave us their card and told us to let them know what we were looking for in a house. Most of these agents came across the same- just trying to sell us one of their listings, not really considering what Sarah and I were looking for in a home... Then we met Gizo, a man that will “never give up and never quit”. At his open house (which we really liked, but wasn’t quite for us), he asked us a few standard questions, like most. He then had us write down a few things we had to have and a few things we could compromise on when it came to buying a house.We did not commit or sign anything with Gizo, and by the end of the day he had already emailed us a house we liked and viewed the next day. The very next week, we had sent him five houses we wanted to see, only we had a limited window to view that particular weekend. He set up all five showings for the next day with less than a 24 hour notice...Not only was Gizo attentive and committed to finding the right house for Sarah and I, he lived up to his word and never did give up.We told Gizo we would sign a contract with him, but he declined and only asked for our loyalty.The following weekend, Sarah and I found our home. It had everything we were looking for, but it was quite a bit out of our price range. We ended up putting an offer in on the house- an offer we could only afford with very little room to negotiate (far below asking price). Sarah thought the offer was insulting, but Gizo encouraged us to try and see what happened. At the very same time, another buyer put an offer in on the house. The seller countered with an offer that was still out of our comfort-zone. Sarah and I countered with our absolute maximum budget (still well below the counter price). We knew our offer was lower than the other buyers’. In our eyes, this was the last chance, and the house would be gone once we put in the second offer.To this day I will never figure out how he did it, but he made the impossible happen. The end of the day came, we expected to get rejected instantly. It was taking forever to get an answer to our offer- but Gizo was still at work. Again, he showed his persistence and expertise as a real estate agent, and somehow made our low offer better than the buyers coming in with more money. We went into the purchase an underdog, but Gizo never gave up on us, no matter how bleak the situation was. Now, Sarah and I have our amazing home, and it is all thanks to Gizo.If you are serious about buying a home and need someone that will NEVER give up and work for you relentlessly- go with Gizo at Gem Real Estate Team. From the first interview till the successful closing on our historic mansion, Gizo Ujarmeli and the GEM Team exhibited the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, energy, responsiveness, fiduciary duty, and just plain savvy. Although the property is extraordinary, other firms we dealt with either gave up after a couple of months or hesitated to take on the effort because of what they perceived was an unfavorable market. Gizo, on the other hand, inspired us with his enthusiasm and good advice. He never wavered in aggressively marketing and showing the property, counseling us on pricing and staging, and providing exceptional service to us as well as the couple who bought the property. The GEM Team is a very professional team. I experienced a bit of a problem with Gizo but in his defense, my strategy was unusual. My strategy fundamentally was Buy-Move-Sell. Gizo seemed more focused on the final step, the sell the existing property step. He questioned whether we were really committed to selling. From my vantage, of course we would be committed as I could not carry two mortgages for a long time. I thought he understood that but he did not. He showed me one property he knew was out of my price rage, he met me to visit another property that had already been rented, so on the buy side we were making zero progress. So we parted ways.

This has to be the best sales experience I have ever had. From start to finish they went above and beyond. Buying a house can be a very stressful process for someone like myself, but with all the associates at GEM, it felt like I was one of their family. This, in turn, put my family at ease. We also have 2 young children and they were very engaged with them as well, so it was fun for all of us. From the original meet and greet with Gizo and Elena, Looking at houses with Jill, and working with Christal to finalize everything it was seamless. We went in with expectations that they far exceed and we ended up with our dream house. How could you ask for anything more? I hope they continue to treat people the way our family was treated, because I can honestly say I would send anyone I ever come in contact with to Gem Real Estate Team! Thanks for everything!!
