Overall, my experience was mixed. On the positive side, he was professional, responsive, always followed up, and his initial presentation was excellent. Communication throughout the process was one of his strongest qualities.My disappointment came toward the end, particularly with negotiations. I felt more could have been done to advocate for me as the seller. During his initial presentation, he also indicated that if I gave him the listing, he would be willing to work with his commission if needed to help make the sale happen. Since the home ultimately sold significantly lower than expected, I brought that conversation back up, but was told he could not do anything. That was disappointing because it was part of the initial conversation that influenced my decision to hire him, and I felt it did not materialize when it actually mattered.Overall, great communication and professionalism, but I was disappointed with the negotiation and follow-through at the end.

Ruben did an excellent job of selling my condo!Here are some of the reasons that I would highly recommend Ruben as a realtor:-He maintained a very high level of professionalism, and was very polite and pleasant, throughout the process, -He was timely with responding to my communications and confidently answered all of my questions, -He used an impressively effective marketing strategy, which, I believe, is what helped to attract a buyer for a property that was difficult to sell.-And he knew how to negotiate effectively with the buyer after the offer was made.Ruben's team was also great! They were very helpful with providing documents that needed to be signed, keeping things on track during the closing process, and adding tasteful decorations to beautifully stage the property!Thank you, all, for a job well done!

Ruben made sure that the sale of our home along with the purchase of our new home was fluid, fully transparent and without any hiccups. He took the time to understand what features would help our home be more marketable so we could capitalize on our home’s strengths. It ended up selling faster than we expected, largely due to the coordination/marketing of Ruben and his team. My wife and I asked LOTS of questions and Ruben always made sure to explain each part of the process clearly and efficiently. We will be moving into our new home in 1 months time and are very grateful to have had Ruben as our agent! He managed all of the typical minutiae and headache that comes with buying/selling real estate so we didn’t have to worry about that and could focus on moving. We've known Ruben for close to 20 years, and many transactions later, he has always gone above and beyond to close the deal and help us make the best decision. Our last house sat on the market for over 4 months with a different realtor, with no offers. Ruben took over and got us under contract in under 12 days. The house closed a month later. Friends of our referred us to Ruben. They had used him about 8 times and had nothing but positive things to say about Ruben. We are so happy that we decided to use him, as well. I received a work transfer from Illinois to Arizona about 6 months earlier than expected, and we have an elderly, handicapped parent living with us. Ruben listened to our unique needs list and showed us 10 properties.
