Going in, we knew that selling in the current buyers' market would be difficult. The sale did turn out to be difficult, in my opinion, but not so difficult that Team Lehman could not handle. Lacey kept us updated regularly via videos, phone calls, and text messages to let us know how our listing was progressing compared with other listings on the market. She kept us on track throughout the listing period. I, one hundred percent, believe that our sale would have fallen apart time and time again had it not been for Lacey's encouragement and for her guiding hands. Review of Realtor Lacey LehmanI purchased a home where Lacey represented the seller. Prior to closing, my realtor raised concerns about bathroom leaks. Lacey responded by sending her handyman (and possibly visiting herself), reporting that one bathroom had no leak and the other had been fixed. She also assured us that a home warranty would be provided.Because I was moving from out of state, I wasn’t able to stay in the home for the first two weeks. Once I did, I discovered multiple serious issues: water leaking from a bathtub was draining through the dryer vent and into the laundry room below, and the toilet in the master bathroom was leaking, causing a brown-stained leak to appear in the ceiling of the living room.When the warranty inspector came out, (which took 4 days for their appointment, understandably) they confirmed that these issues had been ongoing for quite some time and were clearly pre-existing—meaning they would not be covered under the warranty.It also appears that some sheetrock had been replaced to conceal the ceiling leak. Since the underlying issue wasn’t resolved, the leak returned, leaving a large brown stain and dripping water into my living room. When my realtor followed up with Lacey, she claimed we should have mentioned it earlier—despite the fact that we had addressed these concerns before closing and as soon as the warranty company denied the claim she was told by my realtor.Now, I’m facing the cost of replacing toilets, overflow drains in the bathtub and most concerning repairing drywall. It’s clear that the priority was selling the home rather than being transparent about its condition. Had I been properly informed, I would have negotiated repairs before closing. The lack of honesty has led to unexpected expenses and frustration—especially as someone new to the area without a network of contractors to rely on.
Drew and Lacey, along with Ken Oakes we’re so helpful in getting my home sold. They communicated with me each step of the way and provided so much assistance by contacting a local charity and coordinating the pickup to getting a great house cleaning team to my house on Labor Day! Drew also coordinated the few repairs for me while I was out of town. They made the entire process very stress free and I can’t thank them enough for making everything as easy as possible, on me. Oh, and my house was on the market less than a day and I received a large amount over the asking price.
Lacey is a pro! She was thorough and professional and great to work with. I purchased the home remotely and she did a great job doing the showing virtually. She kept us apprised about the whole process. Lacey is honest and forthright- no games. After dealing with several other brokers in the Scottsdale area and being disappointed, we felt lucky to find Lacey.
