This was my first time selling a home, so I'm sure that made the process feel more stressful. I used DUFFY Realty to both sell my home and purchase a new one. The overall experience was more hands-off and impersonal than I expected, and there were a lot of forms to complete, which was tedious at times. That said, I saved over $16,500 compared to using a traditional real estate agent, and that made it well worth it. I would absolutely choose to work with DUFFY Realty again in the future.

I'm doing 5 stars largely due to the cost savings. I'd rate the experience at 4 stars just because it isn't comparable to a traditional realty firm - some things are harder and some things are much easier. But mainly, it's just different. The team was responsive. We never met in person, but they were easy to deal with once we got connected. Our house sold quickly because I was able to lower the price without paying large commission fees and I still came out on top financially. The buyer side was more complicated and different than the seller side. They have other realtors in their network that met us for showings. The team was really helpful during the negotiation phase (buyer and seller). As long as you know what homes you want to look at and aren't afraid to do a little legwork on your own, Duffy is a GREAT option in terms of cost. Whatever adjustments were required as opposed to using a traditional realtor were worth it in my opinion. The shared commission on the buyer side is a huge plus. On the negative side, it can be confusing to get in touch with them. They respond in a timely fashion, but it can be hard to get them on the phone when you call - they almost always cal you back instead of answering calls. They text from a bunch of different numbers and it's hard to keep it straight. Same with emails. There's a lot of traffic flowing from their different departments and it gets difficult to keep info straight. I wasn't a huge fan of the online dashboards. They have a lot of good info, but I found it difficult to find what I was looking for. Regardless, I'm rating them highly and would use them again in the future.

I love Duffy! They have stripped away all the annoying parts of realtors and just do the helpful parts. If you’ve bought and sold a house before, Duffy is the best realtor to use. Efficient processes, helpful team, and 1/3 of the normal commission for sellers!

Duffy delivers on what they promise, which is a self-service model based on a detailed resource guide. The system is smooth and fairly automated—too automated at times. The majority of Duffy’s communication is automatic texts and emails. However, if you ever need to speak with them by phone, you send a text and can expect a call within the hour, usually within minutes.The only downside of Duffy’s self-service model is the lack of personalization. For example, the offer email to the seller had a tone that was inconsistent with my negotiating position, and I believe it was drag and drop template used for all purchases.That being said, I am receiving a buyer’s credit at close and am thrilled with my purchase, which is all that really matters in the end.

If you’re like me and do your research thoroughly before buying, already know exactly what you want, and understand the importance of protecting your hard-earned equity; please don’t make the mistake of handing it away through a traditional real estate model.As both a buyer and an FSBO seller, I learned the hard way how much equity can quietly disappear through standard commission structures and inefficient processes as a standard. Not here…Duffy Real Estate operates with a completely different approach. Their business model is smart, transparent, and results-driven. The team is reliable, highly responsive, and has an intrinsic understanding of the Atlanta market.From the systems and communication to the execution and overall results, everything speaks for itself. Looking back, I honestly can’t believe how much equity I could have protected had I worked with Duffy from day one.Managing personalities and egos in real estate is an art form in itself, and the Duffy team clearly has that mastered...To say I highly recommend them would be an understatement. Impressive. From start to finish.

Worked with Duffy Realty during my home buying process and overall had a solid experience. Their team was responsive, knowledgeable about the market, and moved quickly when it came to getting offers submitted and negotiated.One thing I appreciated was their transparency around fees and how their model works—it’s a bit different than traditional setups, but they explain it clearly upfront so there aren’t surprises later.They were especially helpful in navigating negotiations and making sure everything stayed on track through closing. Communication was consistent, which made the process a lot less stressful.That said, like any brokerage model that’s a bit different, it’s important to fully understand how commissions and credits are structured so you can maximize the benefit on your end.Overall, I’d recommend Duffy Realty to buyers who want a more flexible, cost-conscious approach and are comfortable being a bit more involved in the process.
