Even before officially making her my agent, she took the time to walk me through the homebuying process and set up an online portal for me to understand the housing market. We were paired randomly with Ashley through Chase, and we feel SO lucky and grateful that we were! Being a first time home buyer, we had so many questions. Ashley was so patient and understanding. Her knowledge and experience made us feel at ease. She was also so flexible and worked with our availability. Our daughter was in the midst of tech rehearsals for a play during our search, and she worked around our hectic schedule. Ashley was also extremely professional and timely. She was very responsive by both email and text, which was perfect for us, but when we were together, she always gave us her undivided attention. We were able to find our perfect home, thanks to Ashley, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone we know.

We were referred to Ashley from my niece. Ashley was professional, communicated well, kept me up-to-date on anything that was needed on my end. She was able to handle the sale of our condo in San Jose (a 1031 Exchange) seamlessly. We had significant work to do to get the unit in great shape for the sale. Aslhley coordinated the photography and staging that were both perfect. The unit sold in one day for above asking. She managed the close process and all went as expected. I would definitely use Ashley again and would refer her to friends and family.

We met ashley Mateo at an open house in Mountain View. We heard mixed reviews about her but overall promising results. We were looking to buy and eventually sell our current home. Everything was professionally done but unsatisfied with how genuine she was with our interaction, as well as the follow up with contacting us back. She can provide crime statistics and school ranking but only can speak from her level of expertise as a native of her own perception if you can read between the lines.

Ashley Mateo has a very very high level of everything related to the real estate sector basing on our experience with her, she was incredibly responsive, an excellent listener and adviser, very patient, helpful and friendly, extremely knowledgeable about every tiny thing in the entire process of selling our house and sometimes we felt she was taking care of our interests even more than we did ourselves.We chose her to represent us on the selling based on her excellent costumer’s reviews, and honestly we couldn’t be more lucky choosing her! My husband and I had been looking for a home in the Bay Area since the start of 2021. During this time, we worked with a few realtors who were referred to us and we struggled to succeed in achieving our goal. This year, we were referred to Ashley by a dear friend. The day we met Ashley, I felt so confident that I instantly told my husband, “It’s going to happen this year!” and it did. In just two months, Ashley turned our dreams into a reality. Our experience working with her was outstanding. She was super responsive and attentive to all our needs. She’s incredibly thorough in her research and such an amazing communicator. She has a great working relationship with everyone in the industry and that is something we often overlook but it is a key game changing factor. We felt supported throughout the entire process, not once did she make us feel rushed. My only regret was not reaching out to her sooner. Ashley found us our dream home and we couldn’t have asked for a better realtor, who now is a dear friend!

Ashley sold my condo in San Jose and working with her was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her.Ashley has deep knowledge of the bay area market and the sale process. She guided me through the technical and legal aspects of my sale, like making sure my seller disclosures covered everything. In the month before we listed my unit, three or four other units in my complex went on the market, and interest rates started to rise, and she aggressively tracked all of that to pick the best sale strategy for us. After the listing, she deftly negotiated with the buyer, ultimately selling for $35K more than the asking price of $469K, and $30K more than the buyer’s initial offer. The final sale price was way beyond my expectations.She is also flexible. I wasn’t initially sure if I was going to sell or when but Ashley stood ready. When I unexpectedly found a new house in Wisconsin, she jumped into action to sell the condo. I moved to Wisconsin before the sale, and she took command of the remodeling, listing, open house, sale, and closing while I was remote. She’s patient and persistent. For instance, my buyer’s lender required documentation from my uncooperative HOA, and she worked patiently to get it, even though (it seems to me) this wasn’t her responsibility.She’s a great communicator. I like to communicate by e-mail and my inbox contains hundreds of messages from Ashley. She’s very responsive, especially during critical times like the open house and negotiations.Ashley also has a good team. I lived in my unit for thirteen years, and in that time I found it painful and sometimes impossible to get anyone to work on my unit. In contrast, Ashley’s handymen were a total joy to work with and the remodeling - carpet, painting, staging, etc. - went off without a hitch.To pick a seller’s agent, I looked at agents who’d recently sold a unit in my complex. Among the three agents I talked to, Ashley’s previous clients were by far the most effusive, calling her amazing and emphasizing her knowledge, communication, and networking. I’d agree with all of that and I also strongly recommend working with her.

Ashley is the best! We met Ashley when we had just started our search for Bay Area homes while we were still in Seattle, WA. She was highly responsive from the start. She was warm, personable and had great energy. From the start Ashley was totally on it. She sent us properties that met out criteria and lined up 8-10 homes for viewing over the weekend when we flew down. We followed all the right COVID guidelines and Ashley got us prepared well ahead of time. We found the perfect house and she made the whole transaction effortless. She was always looking out for our interests through out the offer process. She was always responding to our texts and emails in a timely manner. Best of all, she was fun, had a great attitude and was so patient with us. Ashley represented and negotiated some additions and improvements to the house to meet our family needs and followed up with the contractor for each of them and delivered on time. She did all of this while we were busy figuring out moving states and kept us in the loop. When we took possession of our new home we were pleasantly surprised by the generous gift basket waiting for us in the living room. Ashley is a top-notch agent, goes the extra mile, and you'll be in great hands if you choose to work with her.
