While Agent Pronto is fast, the benefits end there. And the company has a number of drawbacks:

Agent Pronto has a lot of drawbacks. Most importantly, unlike some of its competitors, Agent Pronto doesn't offer any built-in savings for sellers or buyers. You’ll pay full commission for a realtor through Agent Pronto just as you would if you found one on your own.
Agent quality is also an issue. While some of our agent matches were good, many were inexperienced, not located in our area, or didn’t fit the criteria we provided.
Speed is the only area where Agent Pronto consistently performs well, providing 1-2 agent recommendations within minutes of signing up. However, most agent matching services will find an agent for you quickly, so even by this measure Agent Pronto offers nothing special.
Bottom line: Is Agent Pronto worth it?
Agent Pronto probably isn’t worth your time. Plenty of other agent matching services offer better agent quality, customer service, and built-in savings.
That said, because Agent Pronto is a free, no-obligation service, there’s technically no risk in trying it out to compare all your options. But we recommend saving yourself the time and trying other agent matching services that reliably offer better value.
What is Agent Pronto?
Agent Pronto is an agent matching service — i.e., a company that matches home buyers and sellers with local real estate agents.
Agent Pronto asks you questions about your planned sale or purchase and uses that information to recommend agents it has partnered with in your area. You can then set up interviews with those agents to choose the best fit — or walk away if you don’t like your recommendations.
Like all agent matching services, Agent Pronto costs nothing to use and you’re under no obligation to sign with any agent it recommends.
Agent Pronto’s biggest selling point is that it finds an agent for you quickly, usually faster than searching for one on your own.
However, Agent Pronto is comparable to most other agent matching services in terms of speed. Based on most other measures — like savings, agent quality, and customer service — it falls short of the competition.
Is Agent Pronto legitimate?
Yes, Agent Pronto is a legitimate company and licensed broker in Florida and Ontario, Canada. All agent matching services must be licensed to legally collect referral fees from agents, which is how they make money.

Agent Pronto is owned by CINC Superior Holdings, which is itself a subsidiary of Fidelity Financial Services, a title insurance and mortgage services company that's part of the Fortune 500.
🚨 Misleading claims about “top agents”
Agent Pronto, like most agent matching services, claims it will match you with a “top agent,” but we found this claim misleading.
While most other agent matching services require agents to close a certain number of transactions to be a "top agent," Agent Pronto doesn’t have any such requirements.
In fact, Agent Pronto doesn’t collect any data from agents about their past transactions. If Agent Pronto doesn’t know how many homes its agents have bought or sold, its claims of working only with “top agents” look like empty marketing speak.
Our point is, don’t take Agent Pronto’s claim that it will find a great agent for you at face value. Verify whether any agent Agent Pronto matches you with really does have a good track record.
How does Agent Pronto work?
- Sign up by filling out a form on Agent Pronto’s website. You'll need to share general information about your sale or purchase, such as your zip code, property type, and target price.
- An Agent Pronto concierge contacts you by phone and email. They may ask additional questions about what you’re looking for in an agent, such as specialties and desired timeline.
- Agent Pronto claims it searches its database of agents and makes a match based on agents’ sales rate, negotiation skills, local experience, customer reviews, and other factors.
- Agent Pronto emails you the agents’ information and contact details. You’ll be able to read a brief bio of the agent and see any specialties they have, such as expertise with veteran buyers/sellers, investment properties, foreclosure, condominiums, and so on.
- You can interview the agents and decide whether you want to work with them.
- If you don’t like the initial agent matches, you can walk away or request more recommendations.
- If you choose an agent through Agent Pronto, the company claims it will check in with you afterwards to see how your agent match is going. However, some customers complain that Agent Pronto doesn’t follow through on this promise.
🚩 Hard to assess agent performance
Agent Pronto makes it hard to compare agents because, unlike some of its competitors, it doesn’t provide data about their experience or recent transactions when it delivers the match.
If you want to verify that an agent has sales in your area, you’ll have to look up their profiles on Zillow, Realtor.com, or elsewhere for that information.
The best agent matching services provide this information upfront via a customer dashboard, email, or text. Unlike Agent Pronto, they save you time by allowing you to verify and compare your options, and therefore make an informed decision.
In fact, it’s not clear what data Agent Pronto does use when it makes an agent match. Most agent matching services prioritize recent transactions when matching clients with agents. While transaction volume isn’t everything, it is an important indicator of an agent’s experience.
How much does Agent Pronto cost?
Like all agent matching services, Agent Pronto is free for buyers and sellers, and there’s no obligation to sign with any agent it recommends.
But with Agent Pronto, you still have to pay the full realtors’ commission, just as you would if you found an agent on your own.
For sellers, the realtor commission breaks down into two parts: the listing fee and the buyer’s agent commission. Both are usually 2.5-3% each, for a total commission of 5-6% on the sale price. The current nationwide average is 5.45%.
Agent Pronto doesn’t pre-negotiate discounted commission rates on your behalf. In effect, you’ll pay more with an Agent Pronto agent than you would if you sign with an agent from a service that pre-negotiates discounts, like Clever.
How does Agent Pronto make money?
When an agent closes on a deal with a client referred to them by Agent Pronto, Agent Pronto takes a percentage of the agent’s commission. This is called a referral fee and it’s how all agent matching services make money.
Referral fees allow agent matching services to provide their services for free to consumers.
Why do agents work with companies like Agent Pronto?
Agents can close more deals by working with an agent matching service like Agent Pronto. Typically, agents spend a lot of time and money attracting new clients through marketing and outreach.
All that time and money also comes with a lot of risk since not every client they sign results in a closed deal. Unless an agent helps close a deal, they don’t get paid.
Agent matching services reduce this risk while sending agents a steady stream of new clients. Agent Pronto takes on the job of finding new customers for agents, so agents can focus more on what they do best (and what actually puts money in their pockets): closing deals.
Plus, Agent Pronto vets clients before handing them off to agents, which helps increase the chances that a client will buy or sell a home with that agent. An agent, therefore, will more likely get paid.
Because agents are spending less time marketing themselves, they can handle a higher volume of transactions. This, in turn, allows them to net less per deal but remain profitable. It’s a win-win for all parties involved.

If you’re looking to save time finding an agent, Agent Pronto can help. True to its name, Agent Pronto matches you with an agent very quickly.
In our experience, after filling out your information online about your sale or purchase, an Agent Pronto concierge will phone, email, and text you within minutes.
After discussing your needs and preferences with an Agent Pronto concierge, you’ll be emailed your matches, again usually after a few minutes. You can also view your matches via Agent Pronto’s customer dashboard.
Your agent match, who will also be given your contact information at the same time, usually attempts to contact you right away. You’ll likely be communicating with a potential agent within an hour of signing up for Agent Pronto.
However, Agent Pronto isn't unusual in matching you with an agent quickly. Most agent matching services will also match you with an agent either instantly or within minutes.
👍 You usually get to choose from multiple agents
In our experience, Agent Pronto usually matches you with 1-2 agents initially. You’re also free to request another agent match, which you can do through your customer dashboard, email, or phone.
We think 2-3 agent matches is a good amount. You can compare different agents without getting overwhelmed by too many choices.
However, Agent Pronto isn’t always consistent about generating multiple agent matches. At times, we were given only one agent match, which was often not a match that we would consider a “top agent.”
That said, when we asked for another agent match, Agent Pronto provided one. If you do use Agent Pronto, we recommend requesting an additional agent match to ensure you can better compare your options.
And again, Agent Pronto isn’t unique in providing more than one agent match. Most agent matching services give you 2-3 agents to choose from.
👎 Bad customer experience
Agent Pronto's customer service was inconsistent. Sometimes our concierge was highly knowledgeable, while at other times they struggled to answer basic questions about the service.
While we expect some inconsistency with every agent matching service — not every concierge is going to be the same quality, even at the best-run companies — it was especially pronounced at Agent Pronto.
Given its inconsistencies, why take your chances on Agent Pronto? Other agent matching services offer more consistent service and better quality agents, plus they go the extra mile to ensure a highly trained and helpful concierge service.
👎 Online experience falls short of the competition
Agent Pronto’s online experience lags behind what alternative services offer. Most agent matching services have an online customer dashboard where you can compare your recommended agents and view useful information about their past performance, such as recent sales.
While Agent Pronto does have a customer dashboard, it's not user friendly and provides little useful information. The dashboard only includes contact information for your agent matches, links to their sites/social media, and a short bio, but little else.
Some other agent matching services provide more data-driven insights that help you compare your options quickly, like number of recent sales, current listings, a map of homes sold, and agents’ commission rates.
To get this information about your Agent Pronto agent, you’ll have to dig for it on other sites, like Zillow and Realtor.com, or ask the agent directly.
Agent matching services should make finding an agent take less time, not more. Agent Pronto’s online dashboard deficiencies mean you still have to do some research yourself to figure out if an agent is a good match. That largely defeats the point of an agent matching service: It should be doing the research for you.
👎 Agent quality is mixed
While many of our agent matches were good, others missed the mark. Some didn’t have any recent sales, for example, or only had a few sales in our neighborhood.
While Agent Pronto claims it only works with “top agents,” it doesn’t define what the term means. Other agent matching services usually specify that agents must have closed a certain number of transactions in the past year or have a minimum customer satisfaction score. There are no such requirements for Agent Pronto agents.
Agent Pronto also doesn’t vet agents, so anyone with a license can sign up and claim to be a “top agent.” It also doesn’t ask agents to provide information about their past performance.
That leaves us uncertain as to how Agent Pronto makes matches since it doesn’t have any data on hand about agent performance. However, the process suggests matches are primarily made on the basis of geographic area and specialties, since this is the main information Agent Pronto collects from agents.
In our opinion, that’s not enough data to make an informed match and you should look to other services if you want to consistently be matched with a top agent.
👎 No built-in or guaranteed savings
Agent Pronto offers no savings for customers. You’ll pay the same real estate agent commission by selling with Agent Pronto as you would if you found an agent on your own or through another service that also doesn’t offer savings, like HomeLight.
The current nationwide average real estate commission is around 5.45%. Typically, around half of that is the listing fee, which goes to the seller’s agent, and the other half is the buyer’s agent commission, which goes to the buyer’s agent.
Other agent matching services offer the same or even better agents, but also pre-negotiate a discount on your behalf with its realtors.
For example, Clever pre-negotiates a flat $3,000 listing fee — or 1% for homes worth more than $350,000 — which helps bring down the total real estate commission to around 3.5-4%.
Here’s what you would likely pay for a realtor with Agent Pronto compared to Clever on the sale of a $400,000 property:

As you can see, you’d save $6,800 if you went with a Clever partner agent compared to Agent Pronto. That begs the question: If you can get the same or even better agent quality through Clever, but for less money, why wouldn’t you?
Agent Pronto reviews from real customers
In general, Agent Pronto reviews online are positive, with an average rating of 4.8 across 1,654 total reviews.
We searched hundreds of online reviews to find out what Agent Pronto does well and where it comes up short. Reading what real customers have to say can reveal how well the service may work for you.
However, we caution that all of Agent Pronto’s reviews come from just one site: Shopper Approved.
Only customers who have completed a transaction can review on Shopper Approved, which means the site doesn’t include those who may have signed up for Agent Pronto, but decided against continuing with the service.
As a result, the reviews skew positive and may not capture a lot of unsatisfied customers.
What customers like about Agent Pronto
Agent Pronto reviews showed that customers were mostly satisfied with the service. Most customers said Agent Pronto did what it promised to do: it matched them with a good agent.
‘A great match for my needs’
A number of Agent Pronto reviewers believed their agent met or exceeded expectations.

“Connected with a great agent, very quickly”
Agent Pronto works quickly. A concierge usually calls within minutes of you filling out the online form.
This customer liked how quick she got her matches and that she had multiple ones to choose from:
We agree that Agent Pronto is very prompt about reaching out with an agent recommendation. We also usually got multiple matches within minutes of talking to an Agent Pronto concierge.
However, this wasn’t always our experience. On a few occasions we were matched with only one agent, even in larger towns where we expected to be offered multiple agents.
Plus, Agent Pronto isn't unusual in providing multiple matches. In fact, most agent matching services will match you with at least 2-3 agents.
“Quick, simple, easy”
Other customers were happy with Agent Pronto's simplicity. This customer, for example, summed it nicely:
We also found Agent Pronto’s service to be straightforward. That said, it lacks a lot of features other companies offer, such as information about agents’ recent sales.
This more basic approach may be appealing to some, but be aware that you will get a lot more features and information about your recommended agents with an alternative agent matching service.
Agent Pronto complaints from customers
As we said, Agent Pronto’s performance is highly inconsistent, so many of the things customers liked about the service were sometimes the same things customers complained about.
For example, most negative Agent Pronto reviews complain about low-quality agents. Agent Pronto’s vetting process for its agents falls short of the competition and its claim of only working with “top agents” is dubious, which may explain the occasional poor agent quality.
"Lazy and useless"
Several reviewers complained agents overpromised and under delivered. This was especially true about sales prices.
This customer, for example, sold for well under what the agent recommended they list the property for and the agent provided far fewer showings than promised:
While the final sale price isn’t always in an agent’s control, the agent should at least be upfront about what your home is likely to fetch and they should work hard to negotiate the best price possible.
“Did not know the area well”
Other Agent Pronto reviews complained that agents were based far away or had few sales in their area, experiences we also encountered.

We recommend going with a realtor who has lots of past sales in your specific area. A realtor from another town may have great sales skills, but they could lack the connections and local market insights that can help you sell your home quickly and for maximum value.
For example, real estate trends vary from town to town — even from neighborhood to neighborhood. An agent who has sold plenty of homes near you will have a better sense of the local housing market. Those insights can help them better advise you on important things like asking price and timeline for selling.
No “follow up with customers”
An agent matching service should always follow up with customers to make sure things are going well and to help resolve any issues that may arise with an agent.
Agent Pronto claims on its website that it follows up with customers after you choose an agent, which we confirmed with one of their representatives. However, some customer reviews indicate that this doesn’t always happen.

Most importantly, Clever offers significant discounts, which Agent Pronto does not. With Clever, you pay a listing fee of just $3,000 or 1% for properties over $350,000, compared to the standard 2.5-3% that you’re more likely to pay through Agent Pronto.
On a $500,000 sale, that translates into savings of $7,500.
Plus, Clever offers eligible buyers 0.5% of the home’s purchase price in cash back rewards. So, if you buy a $500,000 home with a Clever partner agent, you could get a check for $2,500 after closing.

HomeLight is an excellent tool for finding a great local agent quickly. However, it offers zero built-in commission savings for sellers or buyers.

As of April 2, 2021, HomeLight has an average customer rating of 4.7 across 1,119 reviews on Google, Sitejabber, and the Better Business Bureau.
Like Agent Pronto, HomeLight matches you with an agent quickly. Plus, since it has the largest agent network of any agent matching service — with 70,000 agents — it can usually find you multiple high-quality agents almost anywhere.
Its digital experience also beats Agent Pronto’s. It allows you to easily compare agents in terms of recent sales and other performance measures.
However, like Agent Pronto, HomeLight doesn’t offer any savings. You will still likely pay the full realtor commission — which is 5.45% on average — with a HomeLight partner agent, just as you would with Agent Pronto. Other services, like Clever and Ideal Agent, net you savings by pre-negotiating lower realtor commissions.

UpNest’s agent matching service is highly automated and it instantly matches you with multiple agents, saving you time just like Agent Pronto.
However, UpNest's online experience is far more user friendly than Agent Pronto’s, and its dashboard includes a lot of useful information about your recommended agents, like recent sales and commission rate.
UpNest also has agents compete for your business, which results in some savings. However, while the savings are better than Agent Pronto’s — which are non-existent — they usually fall far short of what you can get elsewhere, such as with Clever.
How does Agent Pronto work for real estate agents?
If you’re an agent, Agent Pronto could potentially help you increase your customer lead volume while reducing the amount of time and money you spend on marketing.
As with most agent matching services, you'll pay no upfront costs. Agent Pronto also does a decent job vetting leads before sending them on to agents.
That said, any agent can join Agent Pronto’s network, so you’ll be competing for a limited number of leads with many other agents.
Agent Pronto itself warns that most of its agents won’t actually get a referral using its service. While Agent Pronto claims this is because they only work with “top agents,” our research has found this claim to be dubious at best.
At the very least, if you’re unlike to get referrals, then Agent Pronto may be a waste of time for you — unless you happen to be one of the only agents in Agent Pronto’s network in your area.
Do agents pay to be on Agent Pronto?
Agent Pronto charges a referral fee every time you close a sale or home purchase with a client referred to you by Agent Pronto. The referral fee usually ranges from 25-35%. Referral fees are how all agent matching services make money and Agent Pronto’s fees are about average for the industry.
You must pay the referral fee on all closings you make with an Agent Pronto referral for two years.
Agent Pronto requires no subscription or membership fee and agents cannot pay more to receive additional leads or priority treatment.

Agent Pronto offers a 25% bonus referral commission for any clients or leads you send to Agent Pronto who then close on a sale or purchase with an Agent Pronto partner agent. So if you aren't able to assist a client yourself, Agent Pronto may have an agent who can — and you could still get a 25% referral commission in the process.
What are Agent Pronto’s minimum requirements for partner agents?
The only requirement for becoming an Agent Pronto partner agent is having an active real estate agent license.
While Agent Pronto claims you need to be a “top agent,” it doesn’t ask for information about your past transactions and any agent can sign up and create a profile.
You’re also allowed to choose your specialties, such as in foreclosures, flipping, investment properties, and military clients, which helps Agent Pronto make matches. However, Agent Pronto doesn't verify agents' claims about their areas of expertise.
This lack of a vetting process differs from many other agent matching services that try to verify whether or not an agent is a top performer. It also makes us think that Agent Pronto bases its process for making matches between customers and agents on very little information.
How good are Agent Pronto leads?
An Agent Pronto concierge contacts leads before sending them off to agents. This is standard practice for many agent matching services and it usually helps filter out some leads who aren’t serious about selling or buying.
However, the quality of Agent Pronto’s concierges varies substantially. Some of our concierges asked plenty of questions to determine our seriousness — such as our timeline for selling and what we were looking for in an agent — while others asked hardly any questions.
This inconsistency makes it hard to predict the quality of the leads you'll receive from Agent Pronto.
Oddly, Agent Pronto warns that most agents in its network never receive a referral. While Agent Pronto claims that this is because they work only “with the best agents,” as we’ve already mentioned we think that this claim is highly dubious.
Other agent matching services, like Clever, have a much better track record of vetting leads, which ultimately leads to higher close rate for you.
