Agent Pronto is a free service that connects home buyers and sellers with local real estate agents.

After answering a few questions about your sale or purchase, the company recommends partner agents in your area. You can interview them to find the right fit — or walk away if the matches don’t work out.

Its biggest advantage is speed. Agent Pronto can match you with agents in minutes, saving a lot of time compared to searching on your own.

Where it falls short is value. Competing services not only connect you with experienced agents just as quickly, but they also offer built-in savings on realtor fees.

For example, Clever Real Estate makes it easy to find a top local agent, and it offers a 1.5% listing fee (half the traditional rate) — saving sellers $7,000 on average. If you're interested in this option, just answer 5 short questions, and we'll send personalized agent recommendations to your inbox.

Agent Pronto overview

  • Locations: U.S. and Canada, limited in some regions
  • Benefits: Free service, quick matches, quality agents
  • Downsides: No commission savings, no vetting standards

Agent Pronto is a free service that connects buyers and sellers with local real estate agents. The process is designed to be quick and straightforward, with a concierge guiding you through the match.

Here's how Agent Pronto works:

  1. Sign up on Agent Pronto’s website by sharing details like your zip code, property type, and target price.
  2. A concierge reaches out by phone or email to confirm what you’re looking for, including agent specialties and your timeline.
  3. Agent Pronto searches its network and selects 1–3 agents based on experience, reviews, and other factors.
  4. You’ll receive an email with agent bios and contact information.
  5. You can interview the Pronto agents and decide if you’d like to work with one. If you move forward, you'll sign a listing agreement or buyer's agency agreement and receive full service throughout the transaction.
  6. If the initial matches don’t feel right, you can request more recommendations or walk away.

The service is typically very fast — in many cases, customers hear from a concierge and receive their matches within minutes. Pronto agents usually reach out quickly as well, so you could be speaking with a potential realtor within the hour.

The company provides a user-friendly online dashboard where you can view all your agent matches. It's easy to compare agents based on the profiles, which include:

  • Bios
  • Contact info
  • Years of experience
  • Number of sales within the last three years
  • Price range of homes sold within the last three years
  • Specializations
  • Certifications
  • Customer reviews

As for customer service, concierges are communicative and supportive throughout the process, with regular check-ins. If you need different matches, they quickly provide alternatives. Several Agent Pronto reviews mention customer service as a highlight.

*Based on industry averages. Commission rates are negotiable.

You don’t pay anything to use Agent Pronto — the service is free, as with all agent matching companies.

If you end up working with an Agent Pronto agent, you’ll still owe standard real estate commission. Rates vary by market, but expect to pay around 2.5–3% of the home’s price to your listing agent, plus another 2.5–3% to the buyer’s agent.

In the past, sellers typically covered both sides of the commission. But after the 2024 NAR settlement, MLS listings can no longer advertise a set buyer’s agent fee. Instead, buyers must sign an agreement with their agent and can later negotiate for the seller to cover some or all of that cost as a concession. While sellers aren’t required to pay it, many still do to attract buyers.

Unlike a few competitors, Agent Pronto doesn’t offer pre-negotiated savings. You can try negotiating the commission rate directly with your agent, but most won’t cut it by more than 0.5–1%.

Want a guaranteed lower commission rate? A company like Clever Real Estate may be a better fit. Clever has pre-negotiated 1.5% listing fees with top agents from brokerages like Keller Williams and RE/MAX, so you get full service for thousands less. Get matched with the top low-commission agents near you.

Agent Pronto says it connects buyers and sellers with “top agents,” but it doesn’t clearly define what that means.

Any licensed real estate agent can join its network, and agents fill out their profiles themselves.[1] It’s not clear whether Agent Pronto verifies the information. Other services collect performance data on agents and set requirements, such as a minimum number of transactions or customer satisfaction scores.

That said, recent reviews suggest Agent Pronto has become more selective in practice. Joining the network doesn’t guarantee leads — referrals tend to go to agents who are responsive and have stronger performance.[1] Most recent customers reported positive experiences with knowledgeable, supportive Pronto agents.

When you sign up, Agent Pronto typically provides 2–3 agent matches, which is usually enough to compare without being overwhelming. In areas with fewer partner agents, however, you may receive only one match.

We recommend interviewing at least 2–3 realtors to find the right agent for you. Because the company doesn’t provide detailed performance data, it’s also smart to verify an agent’s history on sites like Zillow or Realtor.com before committing. Look for recent sales in your area and price range, strong customer reviews, and a communication style that fits your needs.

Agent Pronto reviews from customers

Agent Pronto reviews are mostly positive, with a 4.8 out of 5 rating across over 4,000 reviews.

All reviews are on ShopperApproved, which solicits feedback only from customers who have completed a transaction. The site doesn’t include reviews from those who signed up for Agent Pronto but decided not to continue with the service, so some customer experiences aren't represented.

About 3–5 years ago, complaints about bad experiences with agents were common. But in the past two years, only two reviewers reported that issue, while most customers praised both the service and the agents. This suggests Agent Pronto may have become more selective about the agents it refers customers to.

Here's what recent reviewers say:

✅ Fast, effective matching

Many reviewers praised the company for its fast, easy process and for matching them with multiple great agents.

I filled out online form, was contacted by Pronto within about 10min. Then contacted by the agent, Dustin about 5min later. Dustin was helpful and efficient, the condo sold right after it was listed.

Agent Pronto provided two great suggestions. I had the opportunity to interview the two candidates suggested by agent pronto. Then I chose Joe Scalabrelli, who was amazing at his job and made my experience an excellent one. I was able to secure a wonderful deal after listening Joe's advice, who has more than 25 years of experience in the field.

Jacqueline A. July 30, 2025 ShopperApproved

We were most impressed with your referral list ... . Thanks again for your commitment to provide quality agents.

✅ High-quality agents

Many reviewers also mentioned individual agents by name and expressed how knowledgeable, amiable, and helpful they were.

Joelle Seashell was my agent and she went above and beyond her responsibilities. She was diligent and patient with the sale of my family home. We had some issues along the way and she was gracious through it all.

Kelli O. July 17, 2025 ShopperApproved

Kelly Bossman was wonderful to work with. She made herself available for any and all questions and very supportive even when I was 'clueless' about the whole process. Very thankful to have had her at my side!

Karen S. Sept. 2025 ShopperApproved

Stephanie was absolutely amazing to work with. From the very beginning she made the entire home-buying process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. She was always professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, making sure every question I had was answered right away. Shawn McDonald was a pleasure to work with. He is understands the market and how to price and promote your property to get the best possible deal. ⚠️ Agent Pronto complaints

Agent Pronto complaints are sparse. A couple reviewers mentioned bad agents, one complained about too many emails, and another said they wished they were matched with more agents.

I have no issues with Agent Pronto. My realtor was noncommunicative and lackluster. Very hands off. I ended up showing the house to the buyer at an open house that the realtor didn't show up to.

Melanie M. July 8, 2024 ShopperApproved

Pronto was ok I'm not so happy with the realtor and remax

A R. Sept. 25, 2024 ShopperApproved

Was overall a good experience however I felt inundated with emails trying to get me to buy a home in our local area. I sold my house here on purpose, moving locally! I got a lot of other unnecessary emails, too. I don't need constant hounding and reminders and that aspect got annoying fast, but the process of finding an agent we wanted to work with was great and the sale was fast.

Sarah Sept. 21, 2025 ShopperApproved

I would've liked recommendations for more than one realtor, but otherwise no issues with Agent Pronto itself.

These companies are top alternatives to Agent Pronto’s agent network. Like Agent Pronto, they connect you with experienced, full-service realtors — but most offer broader agent coverage and low-commission agents.

Clever Real Estate has strict agent vetting, matches you with multiple top local realtors, and provides full concierge support. It also pre-negotiates a low 1.5% listing fee, which can save sellers thousands compared to the standard 2.5–3% you’d typically pay with an Agent Pronto agent. Eligible buyers may also receive cash back at closing.

Ideal Agent matches customers with agents in the top 1% of their local markets. It offers a reduced listing fee of 2%, which can lead to decent savings but isn't as low as Clever's rate. One drawback is that you’ll only get matched with one agent, limiting your ability to compare and find the best fit.

UpNest works differently by having agents submit proposals and compete for your business. This process can drive down commission costs, though savings aren’t guaranteed. The platform makes it easy to compare multiple options side by side — something that's not as easy to do with Agent Pronto, which doesn't provide much info on the track record of its agents.

Bottom line: Is Agent Pronto right for you?

Agent Pronto is a solid option for quickly finding an experienced agent in your area. You'll get 1–2 agent recommendations within minutes of signing up. It's a free, no-obligation service, so there’s no risk in trying it out and comparing agents.

However, Agent Pronto doesn't have strict standards for the agents it allows into its network. Some competitors, like Clever Real Estate, have high vetting requirements. Agents must have at least five years of experience, a successful sales record, and high customer reviews.

Agent Pronto also doesn't offer any built-in savings for sellers or buyers. You’ll likely pay the average real estate commission, just as you would if you found an agent on your own.

Clever, on the other hand, pre-negotiates 1.5% listing fees with the agents in its network. That's half the traditional commission rate, and it saves sellers an average of $7,000. Buyers in eligible states get cash back at closing.

If you decide to use Agent Pronto, we recommend comparing it to a matching service that offers low commission rates before choosing which agent to work with.

Agent Pronto for agents

Agent Pronto referral fee percentage 2025

Agents don’t pay upfront to join Agent Pronto.

Instead, you’ll owe a referral fee of 25–35% on any deal closed with a client referred by the service — about average for the industry.[1] The fee applies to all transactions with that referral for two years.

Agent Pronto requires no subscription or membership fee, and agents can't pay more to receive additional leads or priority treatment.

The company offers a 25% bonus commission if you send a client their way and another Agent Pronto partner agent closes the deal.[1]

Requirements

The only requirement to join is holding an active real estate license.

While Agent Pronto markets itself as working with “top agents,” it doesn’t verify past transactions or performance. Agents can self-select specialties like foreclosures, investment properties, or military clients.

This lack of vetting indicates that Agent Pronto may base its matches between customers and agents on very little information.

Agent Pronto leads

Agent Pronto concierges reach out to customers before passing them along to agents, which can help filter out less serious leads.

However, the quality of these calls varies — some concierges ask detailed questions, while others do little screening.

Agent Pronto also acknowledges that many agents in its network won’t actually receive a referral, making results unpredictable. You can increase your chances of getting leads by creating a compelling profile and being proactive about communicating with any customers sent your way.[1]

Bottom line

Agent Pronto may be worth considering if you’re looking for no-cost access to potential leads. But with minimal agent vetting and inconsistent lead quality, it’s best seen as a supplemental channel rather than a primary source of new business.

FAQ

How does Agent Pronto make money?

When an agent closes on a deal with a client referred to them by Agent Pronto LLC, Agent Pronto takes a percentage of the agent’s commission. This is called a referral fee, and it’s how all agent matching services make money. Referral fees allow agent matching services to provide their services for free to consumers.

Why do agents work with companies like Agent Pronto?

Agents work with services like Agent Pronto LLC to get a steady stream of clients without spending excessive time or money on marketing. Since agents only get paid when a deal closes, receiving vetted leads helps reduce risk and increases the likelihood of successful transactions.

By focusing on closing deals rather than finding clients, agents can handle a higher volume of transactions. This allows them to remain profitable while serving more buyers and sellers — a setup that benefits both agents and their clients.

Methodology

We evaluate each real estate brokerage based on five core criteria:

Service quality

Agent matching process: We evaluate how the company matches customers with agents, whether it uses an algorithm, human oversight, or both. We also request agent matches and evaluate whether the recommended agents are top agents and have recent transactions in our area.

Customer service: We consider whether the company's representatives are knowledgeable and helpful and how often they communicate with customers throughout the transaction.

Ease of use: We consider how easy it is to find an agent in your area, and we look at customer reviews to determine whether customers have issues with the platform or tools the brokerage uses. We also test any dashboards or other tools ourselves.

Fees

Pricing model: We consider whether the company offers any savings for sellers, like listing fee discounts, or savings for buyers, like cash back.

Agent quality

Vetting requirements: We compare the company's vetting requirements to those of its competitors. We discover whether agents must have a certain amount of experience, number of recent transactions, or high customer ratings.

Network size: We consider the size of the agent network to determine whether customers will have multiple options to choose from and whether customers in rural or small markets will be able to find local agents.

Customer reviews

Customer review analysis: We perform an in-depth analysis of all available customer reviews to determine trends. We also filter out spam reviews.

Credibility

Trust signals: We look at how long the company has been in business, the number of verified customer reviews it has, how willing the company was to answer questions about their business model when we contacted them, and how easy it is to find detailed information on its website — including the names and contact details of specific team members. We also look at customer reviews indicating whether the company acts with honesty and integrity in their business dealings.
