Very disappointing experience with Nicholas Greth and the Patterson Group / Keller Williams Peace River Partners during our purchase of 3310 Ames Street in Punta Gorda. The washer and dryer were advertised as included in both the MLS listing and property flyer, yet were removed prior to closing because they were omitted from the final contract. While that may have technically protected the parties involved, a simple courtesy call or text to clarify the situation would have demonstrated professionalism and good faith. To make matters worse, debris and cleanup materials from the appliance removal were left behind at the property. This home was being prepared for our daughter, who is relocating to Florida to help care for my wife, who is currently in hospice care, making the lack of consideration even more disappointing. Overall, the transaction lacked professionalism, attention to detail, and basic customer service.
The Patterson team was very responsive beginning with my first contact with them. They immediately did a market analysis and discussed the next step of taking pics and marketing the property. I was impressed with their communication which included their “. showtime feature ‘ where any activity is sent to me that includes upcountry showings and surveys completed by prospective buyers. Scott , Shelly and the their whole team made it an easy process. I was pleased with the speed a fair negotiated deal was reached within a month of the house on the market. We sold our home very quickly. Matt and his team were so good at staying on top of everything. We received a very good price for our house. Everyone one the team was knowledgeable, professional and very, very nice. We loved them. They have all kinds of resources if you need items fixed or updated. The people they work with are excellent and good at their jobs and most importantly, reasonably priced. We so enjoyed working with Matt. Special thanks to Darren who sold us our new home (on Matt's team) and the reason we listed with Matt. Also thanks to Cindy who was absolutely a joy to work with. We will definitely use them again if the need arises!
