James helped us buy our very first home and negotiated really well to get us a fair price so when we decided we wanted a bit more space it was a no-brainer who we were going to call! We had kept in touch with him over the years to ask various questions about upgrades and he was always willing to answer questions.Our new home at the last minute turned into a really challenging buy, what was supposed to be a month process formed into 6 months! We had also planned a timeline to sell our current home around the original closing timeline so it was just a mess. James and his team were relentless and worked with us through it all to ensure we got our home. Special shout out to Kylah! Finally, everything worked out and it was time to list our previous home. Our house went under contract after only 2 days on the market and it was a smooth transaction all the way!TLDR: 10/10 Best realtor ever. Honest, trustworthy, and just in general a great person. If you're looking for a realtor he's your guy!

We ONLY use James for real estate ventures. James has represented my husband and I (as well as other family members) on both selling and purchasing homes and land. James is hands down the BEST partner to work with. Incredible Experience — Twice Selling and Once Buying!I’ve had the pleasure of working with James multiple times over the past 5 years, and I honestly can’t say enough good things. He helped me sell two homes and find my dream house. From the very first meeting, it was clear he genuinely cares about his clients. He’s sharp, professional, and has a deep understanding of the market. Both homes he sold for me went under contract quickly and at prices I was thrilled with. I met with several other agents when I sold my first house. They counseled me to sell quite a bit lower than James, with significantly more investment in improvements. I went with James on that deal and have never looked back. This guy truly knows what he is doing.James was always available for questions, gave honest advice, and handled negotiations like a pro. He has since expanded his team, which made selling my most recent home an absurdly easy (and quick) process.I truly believe you won't find a better real estate agent in the Richmond area than James.

All the positive words in the world aren't enough to describe James Nay!! It has been an absolute joy working with him. He's definitely the best in his field in terms of knowledge base and expertise. His additional knowledge of construction, home inspection, and many other related areas take him over the top as the go-to person to sell or purchase a home. Not to mention his humble, humorous nature and his genuine care for people. James sold my home in 2024 before it hit the market. His marketing strategies and the team he used are beyond reproach. I still look at videos and pictures which are beautiful, heartfelt memories of the home we created. He was equally expert in helping with the purchase of my new home just under a year later.
