Carla was phenomenal! She patiently worked with us to sell our home, even as the market softened due to hurricane events and the general state of the economy. She kept us informed at every step of the way and was persistent in keeping our house front and center in the market, either by adjusting the price or by finding innovative ways to get our house in front of a prospective buyer. She is very personable, professional, and articulate. She knows all of the nuances of selling in the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area. Two - time winner! Carla sold another home for me, several years ago and was so knowledgeable and responsive that of course we used her a second time! She was honest about the slow market these days which we appreciated! She helped us ready the home for showings. With her expertise and experience we were under contract in under 2 weeks!Carla was right by our side through the entire process - from beginning to end! Carla had a wealth of knowledge as we looked at several communities for our retirement home. We were coming from Ohio during a pandemic and we needed to make the most of our time for our search. She was organized and had a great deal of knowledge on the area. She introduced us to 3 great builders. She communicated information concisely during the negotiation phase on the 2 lots we placed offers on. She made the process easy and stress free! Highly recommended!

We just don't know where the begin with the amount of praise we have for the Carla Nix Team. Sheila Meeks who has been our Realtor for years, a wonderful, caring professional in her own right, had recently joined the fabulous Carla Nix team, and suggested we give them a try. Our home went on the open market, and within hours (and I mean hours!!) we had numerous offers, it was truly incredible. It was hard to decide which offer to accept, and with the true professional guidance from Carla, we were able to decide which would be the best for our situation. We closed in 18 days from start to finish! How incredible is that! We live in England, but this has not been an issue in any way, all paperwork processed in the most efficient manner, by all involved.We had to sell due to health reasons and the possibility of not being able to do a long haul flight for the next couple of years with the pandemic. Wow! Carla Nix and Nix Associates are absolutely the best Realtors we have worked with over 25 years or both purchasing and selling homes through Realtors. Her business sense, personality and "go-to" attitude made sure sure we got everything we needed. This is exceptionally noteworthy as this was all done during the COVID-19 pandemic. She made sure we felt safe and properties we visited and service companies selected all practiced safe habits. Our new home is beautiful and in the exact location we wanted.
