Tim went above and beyond as a realtor. He found me (quite quickly) a home I could never have imagined finding. It's so much of what I wanted in my wildest dreams. He helped me with negotiations for price and for fixing things that needed repaired. He's patient, competent and professional. Several years after I bought my home, he even came over and helped me with a gas fireplace issue. Absolutely a five-star realtor. I may never buy or sell a home again (I love this one so much), but if I do, I'll turn to Tim.

We have known Tim for 10 years and have always considered him to be incredibly professional and knowledgeable about real estate in Iowa City. We also rented from him in the past, and he was THE BEST landlord. He always addressed our concerns right away and never blinked an eye to fix something or replace it when necessary. When it was time to buy a house in Coralville in 2013, we didn't hesitate to reach out to Tim. It was a long process, and I'm sure we were picky, but Tim never indicated we were giving him too much work. We finally found a house we liked, and Tim did everything we asked for and negotiated a great price. The sellers gave us money for radon mitigation and fixed necessary items that Tim pointed out to us. We decided to sell our Coralville house in 2018, and again, we knew Tim was our go-to guy. It was complicated by us building a house in Cedar Rapids and needing to have a guarantee on the sell of our home. Tim stepped up and guaranteed that he would sell our home otherwise he would buy it himself. We worked with is daughter, Laurie, on staging our home which went great. We sold our home the same day it was listed for full price! Our timing and list price were perfect, thanks to Tim. Tim also came to bat for us during the building of our new home when things got frustrating. Cannot say enough great things about Tim!

Tremendous realtor—the best ever!! I bought my home with him, and then several rental properties as well. Extensive knowledge of all towns in our area. He grew up in Iowa City, and knows lots of history of various neighborhoods, and even knows many of the properties themselves. He is great at assessing pros and cons of any particular property. Very down to earth and practical. He has a huge network of local contractors, for any repair or contingency that may need to be addressed before the sale or purchase.

Tim was very helpful when it came to selling our previous home as well as purchasing and getting the deal done on our current home. In this day and age people try to buy and sell homes themselves, my wife and I had thought about doing that but after talking to Tim we knew we would need help. Tim has decades of experience as a realtor and has lived in the Iowa city area for the majority of his life. He made the process easy and relatively care free. He was honest and trustworthy when it came to making deals on both properties. His relationship with other realtors, agencies, and bankers In town are second to none. He is a very respectful and caring person which is why I would recommend Tim Lehman to anyone looking to buy a house in the Iowa city area as well as the east side of the state of Iowa. My wife and I bought our first home in with Tim as buyers' agent in 2013, and sold it within a day with him and his daughter Laurie as listing agents in 2018. He also was willing to represent us outside of his usual market when we built a new home in 2018. We also rented from him from 2010-2011 in an off-cycle Iowa City rental - those familiar with the Iowa City rental market should take this as a important indicator of Tim's client-oriented approach where off-cycle (Aug 1-July 29) rentals are rare. Tim is willing to go out on a limb for his clients. He is respectful, and he is willing to tell clients the truth about a deal or something that needs to be fixed. Our long history with Tim stands as recommendation alone. You won't go wrong with Tim as your agent.

We weren't looking to move but saw that a condo had become available in a coveted neighborhood. We called Tim because he'd helped us purchase our home and sold the one we were in 15 years ago. Just as he had those many years ago, Tim helped us to analyze our situation, weigh options and negotiate the best price. He and his office helped us to prep our home for sale and has lots of trusted contacts for any repairs or improvements needed on the new place and the old. This was my first experience as a home buyer, and Tim helped me through the process with ease. Not once did I ever feel like I was being overwhelmed with too much on my end. He is not pushy, and he is honest and up front. I enjoyed this experience so much I requested that he help me out with the sale of the home as well. Tim Lehman is an excellent realtor, a person who looks out for his clients and treats them like friends. More brokers should be like him.
