Holly was a phenomenal realtor who provided excellent guidance and fought for us every step of the way. We are moving back to the North County area from the East Coast and had a very limited window to see houses in person. Ahead of our visit, Holly did a great job listening to what we wanted, providing options for us to review, and gathering feedback to distill the market down to houses that fit all of our parameters.During our house hunting trip, Holly tirelessly showed us house after house, including several day-of additions, to ensure that we had a solid understanding of the market. During this time, Holly did a great job of sticking to our original vision while adapting to our feedback as we started to better understand the market. Through this process, we felt we able to make an informed decision despite only having a few days in the area. On the last day, we found a home that was the right combination of all the things we wanted and needed for this next chapter of our lives. With a clear first choice, Holly fought hard to ensure that we were able to secure a winning offer. With her help and guidance we got the offer accepted just as we were getting ready to leave California at the end of our house-hunting trip!Getting that offer accepted was a huge victory, but Holly's effort and value did not stop there. Through every step of the the escrow process, Holly continued to advise us and fight for the best deal. This effort saved us a lot of money and made us feel confident that we truly walked away with the best price the market would allow.Even after closing Holly has continued to be a vital asset as we transition back to California. By conducting walk throughs and working with the selling agent to ensure that the property is ready for move in, Holly has once again shown that she is committed to ensuring that our best interests are represented through every aspect of the real estate buying experience.In addition to all of these wonderful qualities, working with Holly was fun! We had a great time getting to know her and she turned what could have been an absolute grind into an enjoyable and educational experience. She has our absolute highest recommendation!

We bought our first home through Shanfran and it was the BEST experience. My wife and I worked with Holly Christoforo who went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. I couldn't recommend Holly and the rest of the team at Shanfran Realty Group any higher. Buying a home is stressful, complicated and scary but Holly did an amazing job helping us through it all. Holly is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and she somehow made everything fun. Communication during this whole process is critical and Holly always found time for us and always responded quickly with insightful/strategic advice. We're going to miss our daily texts and calls with her! Again, there aren't enough positive words in the dictionary to describe Holly and our experience with her and the team. We're forever grateful and Holly will be the first one over for our house-warming dinner.

I worked with Aliene Lunardi in Alan's office. Ali was absolutely incredible! This was my first time buying a home, and I had no idea how much was involved. Ali was patient, diligent, and supportive every step of the way. We must have toured about 20 properties before finding the perfect one! Once we did, she helped me negotiate a great price, put me in touch with the mortgage lenders, walked me through the entire process, explained what to expect and answered every question I had. She was always quick to respond to my texts and emails, and truly went above and beyond handling things at the property when I couldn't be there to keep everything on track. She even arranged for someone to paint a wall and do so touch up work before I moved in! If you're looking to buy a home, I can't recommend Ali enough! She made the experience very smooth and manageable.

We recently sold our Carlsbad home of 28 years with Brent Hansen and the team at Shafran Realty, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We knew that selling our home would be challenging under the extant economic conditions and interviewed several real estate firms. We chose Shafran Realty due to their expertise with the Carlsbad neighborhood. It was clear from our first meeting that he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and that all the things we were worried about presented no problems. We started with a home inspection to turn up any problems a potential buyer might identify, and then proceeded to make cost-effective improvements. Their familiarity with local contractors made the process much simpler than we were expecting – I can’t even imagine trying to interview contractors for all the things that needed to be done. When this was completed, the house was expertly staged and the showings began. Brent took care of all negotiations, and within a short time our house was sold for full price. Throughout the process, Brent kept us informed as to what was happening, answered all our questions, and advised us as to the best strategies going forward. He also struck a good balance between letting us maintain control of the process while using his expertise to prevent us from doing anything crazy. It is clear that the team at Shafran (Brent, Brenna, Kyle, Dani) really function as a well-oiled machine, and that the large and intimidating task of selling our home was completely routine to them. We’re so grateful, and recommend them most enthusiastically. We would give them more than five stars if we could!
