I have been fortunate enough to both buy and sell a home through Seth Walker and I couldn't have asked for a better realtor in the Des Moines area. From constant email updates on new houses coming to the market, to numerous walk-thrus of potential properties, Seth Walker could not have done a better job. He seems to care and take an interest in every buyer’s and sellers' needs, while managing to take the stress out of a very stressful situation that comes with buying and selling a home.<br/><br/>Seth was very knowledgeable of the market and offered up his opinion when asked or needed. this was our first home-buying experience. it took us six months through two cities - we toured approximately 50 homes. seth was the mvp of our house-buying experience.<br/><br/>seth spent months touring us through homes in both johnston and waukee - at one time he showed us as many as 12 houses on one ambitious sunday. <br/><br/>my girlfriend and i were very picky. through all of this seth had the proverbial patience of job: he was never pushy, always willing to keep looking, always confident the right house was out there. when we finally found the perfect house for us, seth was excellent in closing on the house with some great negotiated terms. <br/><br/>i can't recommend seth walker highly enough - he's absolutely the best around.
Seth is the 1st Realtor I worked with and the only one I will need. When I first contacted Seth, he promptly setup a customized online search for the location and type of house I was looking for. Showings were scheduled around my time and Seth was eager to show me as many houses as I desired. When I found the perfect house and made the offer,. I expected it to take a while to work out. Seth was on the ball and within a few hours, the sellers and I had agreed on a price that included all the new high end appliances that they had already began to pack up. The entire process was painless and my only job was to decide on the right house and sign the papers. It was our first time purchasing a home. I, of course, had a lot of expectations of what I wanted in a house. People were constantly telling me that I was going to have to sacrifice some of the things I wanted to stay with in my budget. I found that to be mostly true, until I started working with Seth.
