We decided to buy a house rather suddenly, and the prospect of finding doing the search on my own was nerve racking! I made a noob mistake which led to me getting phone call after phone call from pushy agents...and it didn't help my home buying anxiety. Luckily a friend referred me to Katie and since the moment we started working with her I didn't have an ounce of anxiety about our home search! She put me at total ease, and was always there to ease my nerves and answer ANY questions I had. She even replied to frantic texts ON HER VACATION!She worked her tail off to find us options, really worked with what we wanted and what we could afford, and also helped us figure out that we could afford more than we thought! She knew the area, she knew the market, she was up front and honest and wasn't concerned about her commission but only that we found the perfect first home for us.Even after our initial signing gift of champagne (which we're saving for renovation completion) we still get little gifts from Katie to mark holidays! A pumpkin carving kit for halloween (Katie puts on her own carving contest!); Christmas cards with a lovely personalized ornament; And most recently a Valentine's Gift Card to a lovely local boutique.No detail was/is too small for Katie. She's an agent that really cares about her clients even after the house has SOLD - I'm so thankful that we were referred to her. And if/when we decide to sell our home she will be the first we contact.My review couldn't possibly do her any justice -- I recommend giving her call if you're looking for an agent but are too intimidated by the commission driven agents - friendly, knowledgable, attentive, and never pushy, and just all around a great person!
