Gene and Susan Arant, as well as those on their Team, combined to insure the best possible experience for both my wife and I (seller). At no point in time was I confused or surprised during the process of showings, offer comparison (there were more than a few), or closing. However, the Gene Arant Team exceeding my expectations is a given. They are well established in the market in which I live, give to the community generously, and actively participate in many aspects of the growth of Austin. Frankly, having lived here for 12yrs, I never considered other representation.

We were closing on my brother's estate, including moving his 18 year old daughter, and the Arant team took care of everything. Since I was out of town, they scheduled and coordinated all property prep for the sale. Abigail was absolutely INCREDIBLE ... from the fundamental sale role ... to communicating all progress ... to super sensitivity to the moving of my 18 year old niece ... to final sale paperwork ... bottomline, I highly recommend the Arant team.

Having never sold a home, I was more than nervous about the process. Before hiring Jennifer Shahry to represent me I reached out to several other agents. Many seemed good, however Jennifer answered my questions in detail, even providing some advice that I hadn’t asked for. Not only that, she helped alleviate stress and worked with me on some big concerns before I had even signed a contract. The entire Gene Arant team was great. This was a bit of a concern for me at first, I was thinking I wanted an agent who worked on their own. I am glad I decided not to go that route. Jennifer was in frequent contact with me, however, so were others. Cody Wickham checked in with me often. He actually left a message once just asking how I was feeling about the entire process. A few times I asked a question and Jennifer or Cody would answer, but then say, let me also ask so and so, just to get more info. That was the power of working with them.Something else I appreciated, they were direct. I don’t do well with reading between the lines, I find real estate confusing. Thankfully I didn’t have to. Jennifer was always supportive, she was good about pointing out other options, but never pushy. A few times I didn’t take her advice, she was 100% supportive of each decision I made. Both Cody and Jennifer were relentlessly helpful throughout the process. Selling a home was still stressful, but thankfully I had awesome people to guide me every step of the way.
