My experience with Emily Phipps when I purchased my house was excellent. I moved from out of state and really did not know the area at all. Most of my communication with her was while I was living 800 miles away and could not make it to view potential properties. She understood exactly what I was looking for and steered me in the right direction for buying my first home in Winston Salem. Her knowledge and experience were the reasons why I was confident and correct at the end of the day. I truly appreciate her help and will be a client for life with many referrals to give. As a first time homebuyer, the thought of going into the process alone is a daunting one. Thankfully we had Agent Emily on our side! My Fiancé and I knew next to nothing about purchasing real estate, however Emily made it her mission to educate us while keeping our wants and needs at the forefront of our search. Emily took the time to get to know what we wanted and tried to go above and beyond to help us. She was responsive and tried to make things happen that we didn’t necessarily think could happen. Emily always greeted us with a smile and her gentle soul made us feel like we had known her Forever. I am thankful to have had the chance to work with Emily and I would not hesitate to do so again. Emily responded to every request and even met us on houses that I know she may have thought weren’t the one for us. She did it willingly and showed us the respect and kindness we all want to be shown. I’m thankful for the journey we went on and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without Emily Phipps. Dynamite comes in small packages and this sweet realtor may be small of stature…but packs a swift punch when negotiation time comes around.

We are very grateful to have Emily Phipps by our side while purchasing a home in this hectic market as first time home buyers. She did an amazing job at walking us through the process and what to expect each step of the way. After she helped us succeed at landing a home that was perfect for us, she was there for us through the closing process with any questions or concerns that popped up. I also highly recommend Emily for anyone who is self employed because she also knows how to navigate the twist and turns of the approval process with that added obstacle. My husband and I are extremely thankful and are very excited to be moving into our fist home. This would not have been possible without her help!

I'm pretty sure I called Emily our 'Angel Agent' from the moment we first met her. I'm going to tell you something I didn't know upon first meeting Emily, but it's something that tells you just how dedicated she is to not only her career but her prospective clients as well. I was interested in a house (that I later bought, yay!) and hit the 'contact me' button on Zillow which brought me to Emily straight away. She was immediately communicative and helpful so I was already pleasantly surprised and we hadn't event met in person yet! We did meet up at the home very soon after our initial contact (it was cold and wet and miserable - just exiting our winter season) Emily was not feeling well, but met up with us anyway -- no hesitation, no mention of the fact that she was battling against her health for the better good of our future in this potential home. She smiled and chatted with us; showed us the home, told us our options and the next steps if we wanted to proceed. I never felt 'pressured' and she did not come off as 'sale-sy' at all, even though selling a house is her actual livelihood. She wanted US to decide if the home was OUR perfect home. That's just the person she is. Once we said 'YES!' to the home, Emily went above and beyond with communication; both in relation to us and taking on the more stressful things like talking with the sellers' agent, setting up appts, negotiations of fees from the seller toward our purchase, etc. She was always on top of things and ALWAYS had our best interest at heart. On our closing day, I was happy to have the home, but sad that we wouldn't be seeing/hearing from Emily as much. She is such a golden heart and has a team behind her with just as much passion/love for helping others find their perfect place. I would highly recommend Emily above ALL ELSE. She is second to none and although our experience with her is all finished up on this home, I will definitely be using her for any other home endeavors in my future. Thanks, Agent Em! ;)-Chelsea
