Chase helped us purchase our first home and we are so grateful! We naturally had a lot of questions and didn’t always understand things the first time he walked us through it. Chase was so patient and knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to us over and over again when we were a little overwhelmed with all the new information. Chase had recommendations for fantastic lenders and inspectors who all proved to be professional and operated above what we expected. We toured the home and got keys 4 weeks later!! I'm trying to figure out how to encapsulate the magnitude of how great of an experience it was to work with Chase (and his team) without writing 8 pages worth of material... and it's hard to do. My wife and I have been in San Diego for 16 and 13 years respectively, and for 12 of those years we have lived in and owned a little townhome in the City Heights area. Our family has grown over the years (4 kids, a dog, and a bunny!) and with that, so has our desire to have more space and to own a piece of land that we could raise our family on where our kids could be kids and roam free, and our family could be more sustainable. The hardest part of that, was the feeling (and in many ways hard reality) that this dream is very difficult for a young family to accomplish here in San Diego. Enter... Chase Cromwell! We were introduced to Chase through a mutual friend and straight from the get-go Chase stood out amongst the crowd. We called Chase on a Wednesday to share with him what we were dreaming about, to which Chase replied, "Guys... I know what you want. I know what you are looking for. This is what I do!" And man was he right!! We were interested in a move to Alpine, but admittedly, didn't know a ton about the community and the area. Later that week on a Saturday morning, we met Chase in Alpine to look at a 3 homes and what could have been an hour of home tours, turned into nearly 6 hours together driving to all corners of the town (and I mean ALL), with Chase sharing his knowledge of the community, the neighborhoods, the market and what life would be like in "the country". It was an above and beyond kind of thing, which is what I've come to realize is a common thing with Chase. His day-to-day is above and beyond, and to him, it's just a Saturday. It's just what he does for people. You have this feeling that you might be special, or that you are getting some special treatment, but the reality is, Chase does this for everyone. It's how he is wired and it's how he applies himself to what he loves and does. He's just that kind of person. Story cntd: That night we developed an offer for an incredible home that we never would have dreamed we would actually own. Chase delivered that offer to the sellers on Sunday, and on Monday we had our offer accepted. It was 1 of 9 very competitive offers!! It felt like a miracle, but the reality is, it was Chase. He was the miracle maker. You would think that would be enough, but the story goes on. Now it was time for us to get to work with selling our townhome, and Chase jumped into action... This guy was in our home sweating and working his tail off helping us to get the home prepped for sale. I'm not talking about helping us stage the place... I'm talking about full on weekend projects with paint, finish work, bathroom updates, the whole nine yards. Again... above and beyond. With Chases help we were able to sell our home and maximize returns by selling for one of the highest values in the community! It was incredible! Our family is forever grateful for the work that Chase did for and with us. Chase continues to support us and has been an incredible resource as new land owners. With the recent and sudden passing of my father we were left with a lot of very difficult decisions to make. I went to Chase not only knowing he is very knowledgeable but someone that goes above and beyond the normal job description of a real estate agent. What could have been one of the most stressful and emotional processes actually was one of the easiest.
