Tom helped us buy an investment property in 2022. He guided us through the offer process and into the final closing. He helped us locate financing and guided us through some financial complexities such that the closing still occured within 10 days of the offer. Once the house was purchased he helped us rent it and advised us through the paperword process even though by this time he had no financial interest in the transaction. This year it was time to sell. Tom and Terry came to evaluate the property and provided us with a list of items that would improve the property's curb appeal. Daniel took over the selling process and adviser role early in the process. We followed all their advices, from lightening the house with paint and new floors, to accents such as lamps and curtains. When we finally listed the house, Daniel organized the open house and welcomed the buyers over one week-end. We had multiple offeres in hand within one week of the listing and closed two weeks later. And all this happened in a "so-and-so" market. We were delighted, but not surprised, after all it was not the first time we availed ourselves of Brezsny Associates services, and they came though again with flying clolors.

I worked directly with Scarlett & Daniel Wolford (some with Terry as well regarding staging/design work), but can say the entire team that backed them up were amazing. Scarlett & Daniel made everything about selling my beloved Santa Cruz home calm, easy and pleasurable. Their advice on when to sell and what to do to prep my home, down to trusting their stager (Laurel) was spot on. I trusted them so much I left my home in their hands as I moved states as I needed to get where I was going quickly. I never worried for a second and my trust in them was validated by great offers and a quick, smooth sale. Scarlett even helped me vet out an agent in my new state, who ended up being much like her and made my purchase process there great as well! If you’re looking for an agent in the Santa Cruz area, do not hesitate to interview this team. I think you will find, as I did, that they are an easy selection right from the first meeting. I doubt you will find a more put together, knowledgeable and supportive team of people in the Santa Cruz/Bay Area to help you buy or sell your home.

After working with Brezsny and Associates in selling our home of 35 years, we can give them our highest recommendation. They were professional, thorough, and highly skilled at navigating the shifting realities of the current real estate market. When I first considered selling my house in Ben Lomond, I attended Tom Brezsny’s evening sessions on downsizing and decluttering and “went to school” on how to prepare my house for placing it on the market. Tom and Daniel Wolford handled the sale of the house and provided great ideas, advice and resources for preparing the house, doing necessary repairs, updating to enhance curb appeal, and putting it on the market with the goal of receiving multiple offers and a final sales price exceeding asking. The end result was within two weeks of the house going on the MLS, it sold for the over asking price and a 21 day escrow. Scarlett and Dan came to our rescue when we wanted to sell our home and we highly recommend them as real estate agents! Friends recommended them because Scarlett and Dan found them their dream home after a two-year search! The husband and wife team along with the family are the most honest, upfront salt of the earth high performers in this often dull market filled with a lot of mediocre agents! They helped us successfully sell our is house in under a week! We had to make a cash offer on our new home without any contingencies and close escrow in 30 days and they helped us achieve both objectives. We received two offers in one weekend! They helped us list, stage, advertise, clean up, decorate - complete with vendors (tree trimming, window cleaning, etc) and inspection reports so we were ready to sell as soon as we listed. Their videographer was the bomb and took incredible shots highlighting the home. And the brochures and advertisements they produced were golden. To say we loved working with the Brezsny team is an understatement. Tom and Marika were incredible every step of the way in our home buying process, from our very first conversation to the day we got the keys. They are an experienced, ethical, and trustworthy team, who bring a wealth of knowledge to the home buying process. My husband and I were first time homebuyers, and Tom and Marika were exceedingly supportive and patient when it came to guiding us through our journey. Some key highlights from working with Tom and Marika:- During our initial conversation with Tom, he recommended my husband and I write down our goals for buying a home and what our main priorities were. We did this and it really did help us understand what we were looking for and why. Tom’s patient and thoughtful approach during this first call is the reason we decided to work with his team, and that approach continued throughout the process.- Tom and Marika both talked to us extensively about all the listings we were interested in and even ones we didn’t think we were interested in (but we still had questions about).
