I cannot recommend The Scott Gaertner Group highly enough. If it was possible to give this remarkable team higher than 5 stars, I would. Scott helped me with the purchase of my Desert Ridge home. I had a very narrow parameter for the location I needed to be. Scott not only helped me find the perfect house, in the right location, but he gave me his honest feedback regarding the correct price to offer, as well as shepherding me through the negotiation process. I felt he truly wasn't just trying to sell me any house, but rather, had my best interests at heart during this purchase.Four years later, the time came for me to move on from this home. Scott was conscientious and knowledgeable about pricing my home. Using the latest metrics and data, Scott's business acumen for my house price was exactly right. Giving me the best advice he could, taking into account the improvements I made to the property, and using the best photographer possible, Scott's opinions on when to list, when to hold the open houses and the overall timing were all right on the money, literally. Scott was able to sell my house for top dollar and quickly.Finally, Scott is not out on his own. Scott and his team furnished us with outstanding service, meeting our sales deadline of one month from listing date - at a top price.His approach works well: he insists on a top notch presentation, which costs the seller more than competing realtors, but the quality of his firm’s work adds much more value to the sales price, than the extra cost incurred. It also enables a much quicker sale than I have encountered before. I very much dislike the concept of dual agency, but we never felt it compromised our negotiations. It also motivates potential homebuyers to list their home with him, speeding/eliminating “house to sell” contingencies.Finally, Scott is honest, fair, tactful and highly knowledgeable about the market.

Scott and his team knows the local market really well. They have developed a good process to put a property on the market and follow through on all the stages of the selling process up to closing. Excellent support from his team throughout the process.I recommend him strongly for North Scottsdale.

I am an out of state real estate agent. I was worried I couldn’t get the value I wanted out of my vacation home in Scottsdale if I sold it now. I interviewed 3 local agents and Scott Gaertner proved he was the expert in the area. He suggested some minor interior updates to realize the best price possible. He was right on target with the price and the updating suggestions. He listed my home and sold it in under 30 days for full price! Scott was easy to get a hold of to answer any and all questions. We purchased one of Scott's listings and he then sold our home for FREE because that is his policy. Both transactions had some quirky moments but Scott’s team was professional and candid in representing our interests throughout the process. Even though he sold our home for free, he ensured our terms and price were met. We would recommend Scott and his team to our friends.

Although a move to a new home can be an exciting time….selling a home of 14 years and buying a new home can also be very stressful. My husband and I knew it was time to downsize, but we were not looking forward to the process itself. We decided to begin just looking around at options available to us in the North Scottsdale area where we wanted to stay. Lucky for us, I decided to look at a home in Terravita and we ended up connecting with Scott Gaertner and his team. The first team member we worked with was Steve. Steve went out of his way to provide options and information about homes that looked interesting to us. He was very professional and was always quick with responses to questions. We ended up finding a home in Terravita that we thought was going to be a great next home for us and decided to “consider” making an offer. I say “considered” because our current home was not even on the market…..we did not expect to find a home we wanted that quickly. That’s when Scott came into the picture. Not only did Scott work with us to purchase the new home with a 90 day closing to allow us time to hopefully sell our home, but he sold our home in one week once it was on the market! We were so impressed with the entire experience. Scott sent a stager to our home to work with us on prepping the home for going on the market. Another person came out and developed a detailed map of the home and yard. The photographer that Scott works with did an amazing job….coming back a second time to photograph the back yard as our pool lights created a glitch his first visit. The resulting photos and video tour were fabulous and drew an amazing number of views once posted online. In summary….the presentation of our home was professional and extremely successful. Once the house and presentation materials were ready Scott recommended a price that exceeded what we had hoped to be able to ask….and….we got full price! We had 18 showings in one week and two offers. The high level of customer service continued with Terry and Lindsay as we worked through the process and paperwork of selling one home and buying another. Like Steve, Terry and Lindsay were wonderful about providing information and responding to requests quickly. Not to say we did not run into a couple of hiccups….but Scott was very resourceful in making sure the hiccups were resolved. All in all….a VERY positive experience! We don’t plan to buy or sell another home…..but if that ever changes there is no doubt who we will be calling….the Scott Gaertner Team!
