Lisa Bayless at Long Realty just sold my home for full price in less than 30 days. Lisa is a top Realtor in the area. What is amazing about this is my home sold for above comps (people said I would never get the price I did) and quicker than most homes in my neighborhood. Lisa handled everything from start to finish. She got the home ready for sale, marketed it, negotiated the offer, walked me through inspections and managed the closing. She walked me through the entire process with her knowledge/experience and remained professional, helpful and patient the whole way. Lisa is an excellent communicator. She was in regular contact with me, explained every step of the process to me in detail and has a magical way of finding solutions to problems. Lisa also found the buyer for my home. She worked her realtor network and her own team did bring the buyer who bought my home. What really set Lisa apart is her kindness. Yes, she is a top realtor and a big producer in the area and a serious negotiator. However she also genuinely cares for her clients, connects with them and wants to do the right thing. I trusted her and am sure glad I did.

I would like to share the experience I had with Lisa, and I hope no one else will.I saw her add in my neighborhood, I looked her up and saw the ratings, and I thought to myself she must be great. So, I hired her as my realtor to sell my house. Then I realized she was very good agent for buyers but not so much for sellers, or at least not for me. I asked her to advertise the house on social media and her answer was, “yes, I am, on YouTube.” Who looks on YouTube for houses? When I asked her about Facebook, Instagram, twitter, etc she said she didn’t know how and not too many agents advertise their houses on these media. Then she posted adds on Explore newspapers. I mentioned to her many times that is not a newspaper that people read. I received explore every weekend in the drive way and I dispose of it in the trash without even looking at it. I asked her to place adds in Daily Tucson newspaper. After I insisted, she started posting it on some weekends. I asked for open house; but again, I received resistance from her, her reason being that in gated community it’s not recommended to have open house. Again, after I insisted, she arranged for open house. After I had showings of my house, I would ask her how the showing went. She would let me know sometimes, but other times no, then stating very defensive “if they don’t tell me I can’t force them.” Comments like those were So unnecessary. I had to text or email her because most of the times I would call her she wouldn’t answer , but I would receive a quick text message “I am with a buyer, I’ll call you.” And yes she called sometimes 2-3 days later. I can go on and on and on about her passive way of selling a house. To me it seemed she was just expecting the house would sell by itself with no effort from her. I asked to cancel the contract with her, but she refused stating “she spent so much and couldn’t let me out of the contract. I had a professional photographer taking pictures of your house, other realtors don’t do that!” So I had to wait till the end of the contract; of course the house didn’t sell. Every time I would ask her what was she doing to market the house was just what I mentioned above and speak to realtors. My opinion: very conservative, not open to new technology and new ways of marketing, and very very poor communicator.I debated for a while if I should leave a review before I decided to write one, but I didn’t want anyone to have the same experience as I did.
