We had only 3 months to find a home and close, and with Laura’s help we found our dream home and closed within 30 days! She is super knowledgeable, made the home buying process easy and worry free, walked us through the entire process and was quick to respond to any questions. She had great recommendations every step of the way (lenders, inspectors, etc.) and made sure all our bases were covered. I cannot recommend Laura enough!

I recently sold my father's property in Bloomington. I was concerned on how the process would go as I live in San Diego. Laura was referred to me and I knew as soon as the first phone call, she was the right person to work with! The house was built in the 30's and needed some work! I primarily worked with Laura, but her team was very involved and they all made the process seamless for me, from the beginning to working with the title company, to close. Communication was amazing, I knew I could depend on Laura and her team to answer any questions quickly, handle any issues that came up, talk me through decisions, never felt unsure about Laura and the team and their abilities and knowledge.I recommend The Indiana Team completely, with no hesitation, wish I could give them a 10!

We have had realtors in the past that were effusive and bubbly but did not follow through steps to make sure that we were protected and understood what we needed. The support we received from Laura Stevens during our home buying process was really remarkable. She is so knowledgeable and provided us great guidance throughout our home buying journey. We worked with her on a cross country relocation, so we were unable to be in town for much of the process. She went above and beyond with supporting our needs and providing thorough communication. As first time home buyers, this was especially valuable to us. I could not recommend her highly enough!

Our experience with The Indiana Team and Laura in particular was fantastic. It is not easy to buy from out of town but she made it seamless and worked with us at our pace through it all. Laura is clearly an expert in this market - she knew how to navigate various situations and her advise was always spot on. Buying can be stressful but she helped us tremendously and made sure we got the perfect home for us. We are so thankful!

We met Laura by putting in a request to see a home that was on Zillow. She offered to appraise our house and did so promptly. When we decided to list it, we chose her. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. She was extremely helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. Her team did an outstanding job of photographing our house and presenting it in an appealing way. It sold in three days, above the list price. At every step along the way, Laura quickly responded to inquiries or concerns. She has a calm, studied way about her and seems very knowledgeable of the local market. We very strongly recommend her.

Buying a home in early 2022 has been difficult with the record-low inventory and many houses being snapped up hours after they were listed. My husband and I have bought and sold over a dozen homes, and this market was by far the most challenging for us. Although this has been the most frustrating housing market we’ve experienced, we could not have survived it without an excellent realtor, Laura Stevens. I really dislike emphatic exaggeration, and I am going outside my comfort zone to even write this review, but I feel just so strongly about Laura’s effectiveness as a realtor. I honestly don’t think you we could have worked with a better realtor during this achingly difficult process. Laura Stevens is the most impressive, experienced, professional, and helpful realtor that we’ve met (and we’ve worked with more than a dozen realtors in our time in Bloomington). Karma did us a solid when we ended up with her randomly at the showing of a house in December 2021 when requesting an agent through Zillow. After that first experience, I was hooked and very happy to keep working with her. Laura was knowledgeable, timely, communicative, proactive, reliable, and patient. Her highest priority is helping her customers find the right house for them and be comfortable with their decisions during the process. She is the hardest working and dedicated realtor I have ever observed. After touring literally dozens of homes (I think we toured about 75 homes and made multiple failed offers), she never gave up on our search, and she was as dedicated to our search as I would have ever wanted. Laura’s personality is low-key yet effective, proactive on our behalf yet never pushy toward us. At all times we felt that we were her highest priority client although we knew she was juggling a number of clients and appointments. When so many realtors make me almost cringe with their sales rhetoric and overbearing fast-talking, Laura was calm, sincere, willing to listen and ask the right questions. During our process we faced a large number of unexpected challenges (with sellers and with inspection issues), and Laura was able to handle these on the fly. We learned quickly that problems don’t always have a straightforward answer or textbook solution, and Laura’s creative problem solving was a huge asset. Laura has been a realtor in this area for over two decades and this allowed her to help us find quality inspectors and contractors quickly (when all others were booked out too far past the inspection response timeline). Laura was tenacious, service-minded, honest, sincere, tech-savvy, and paid attention to details. We could not be more grateful for Laura’s help, knowledge and guidance through this process of finding a successful home.

I have bought several homes over the years, but Laura Stevens (with the Indiana Team) is by far the best I've worked with on a purchase. I knew I wanted to find an experienced Premier Agent because I was looking for a high-end home with quite specific requirements, and after reading lots of reviews I selected The Indiana Team/Laura. She was exceptionally professional and helpful, going above and beyond at every step of the process from the initial tours to closing and even helping with some details post-closing since we were moving in from out-of-state.Our whole process was remote since we ended up finding a home we liked and didn't have time to fly out and visit in person. In our first phone call, Laura impressed me with her knowledge of the local real estate market and had inside information about many of the homes I was interested in -- she told us a lot of info that we wouldn't have found on Zillow. Laura set up a bunch of virtual tours, and it turned out that the first one was our favorite. She helped us with strategy for the bidding/negotiation phase and despite another offer coming in before ours, we ended up with our offer selected by the seller.Laura also helped with the inspection phase, arranging and attending inspections on our behalf, solving some issues with city permits that came up, etc. etc.; We had expected to have to chase down these issues ourselves but she proactively took care of everything she could, and kept us informed every step of the way with frequent email/text updates and phone calls when needed.We were nervous about buying a home completely remotely, but Laura made it worry-free. After closing, the house was vacant for a while before we moved into town, and during a week with a severe winter storm she checked on the house a couple times for us to make sure the heaters were working and the pipes wouldn't freeze (and she was the one who suggested this and volunteered; it wasn't our idea).All in all, Laura is excellent as a buyer's agent, knowledgeable, professional, proactive, and great at timely communication. Very highly recommended!
