Moving from Texas to New Hampshire is not an easy thing to do, and we knew early on that finding the right realtor was going the be extremely important for things to go smoothly. Luckily, we found Kristyn and her amazing team who helped us find the right home (super fast!). Working through different time zones, 1800 miles away, Kristyn made the process simple and explained everything in excellent detail along the way. Anyone looking for a Realtor to guide them through their home-buying journey would be lucky to have Kristyn and her team working with them!
Kristyn Nelson has an excellent energy level and is quite organized. She was willing to tour houses on our behalf since we were out of state, which allowed us to eliminate a lot of properties early and save a lot of money on airfare. Having grown up in Bedford NH, she was particularly helpful for finding a home in the area and explaining the neighborhood layout. Kristyn took the time to explain what to expect when making an offer and receiving counter responses back, which allowed us to make offers quickly (ultimately on two houses) and keep sellers engaged. Her strong relationship with other agents in the area was valuable and likely contributed to our winning offer being accepted initially while avoiding a potential bidding war. Specifically the listing agent for the home we purchased said that Kristyn was his favorite agent in the area to work with and did counsel the seller to accept our offer at the original listing price rather than hold out for a higher offer.Kristyn again went above and beyond when there was a miscommunication with the seller, when they planned to leave more furniture than we expected and requesting additional payment for it. We discovered this plan only close to the closing date. Rather than sour the relationship by refusing, Kristyn did us a solid by covering the payment and coordinating the selling of the additional unwanted furniture herself.I'd definitely work with Kristyn again.
After working with couple of realtors to find a home in Bedford, NH. We met Kristyn at Nelson Realty and she was amazing! She advocated for us and guided us through all the steps while being timely, straight-forward and considerate. She was very patient addressing all our questions and extremely responsive through out the process. Despite the difficulty of finding houses in this market, she helped us get a perfect house within all my requirements.
