I highly recommend John Wesley Brooks and his wonderful family team. John has a calm, easy-going personality (never pushy), but at the same time he knows how to aggressively drive the transaction to the finish line. Throughout the entire process, John made himself readily accessible through texting, and usually responded within minutes.John performed an initial walk-through of our home and suggested upgrades and home presentation tips that certainly helped the sale of our home. He recommended a very skilled and reasonably priced handyman for a much-needed repair. It was quickly and efficiently completed to our amazement.John came prepared to our first meeting, providing comparables and current market data to help us determine the selling price of our home. He is very knowledgeable of market trends, and suggested the best timeframe for putting our home on the market.He used an excellent professional photographer to take pictures of our home and property, and included a detailed layout of our home with dimensions. He patiently worked with us to wordsmith the listing and order the pictures according to our preference.Our home was listed on all pertinent websites and social media platforms. Data was collected and summarized weekly in a report, showing us the number of views and origination.Within a half-hour of the listing going live, people were scheduling showings. The open house was a huge success with over 10 families attending.We had an out-of-state offer within the first two weeks, which required a lot of negotiation. I worked with John Wesley Brooks on two occasions, renting a property where he was the rental agent as well as having him as my buyer's agent to purchase my first home. He was excellent and I would use him again if I had another real estate transaction. He was very communicative, took time to understand what property I was looking for, and provided key insight & knowledge on real estate listings throughout the buying process. From touring homes, submitting the offer, and eventually closing, John guided me through the buying process while also pointing out key items during the home inspection and final tour before closing. I had a positive experience both renting and purchasing a property in the Huntsville area and this was attributed to John Wesley Brooks. His recommendations for services such as landscaping and handyman work have been very helpful as well.

We began work with John and his wife Yuleith as renters. They managed a beautiful home that we have rented for 18 months. During that time they have always been quick to respond to questions and problems. They have worked with the landlord, who is out of state to get problems handled promptly. Including when the AC broke during July, they quickly helped us obtain temporary window units. Until the AC unit was replaced. All added costs covered by them. When we decided it was time to become homeowners it was an easy decision on who to hire as our realtor.With John Brooks we had a wealth of knowledge about the city and surrounding area. We quickly were recommended neighborhoods across Huntsville and the greater area. He was very responsive any day, any time. Regardless the personal situation in his own family. He and Yuleith make time to support you. When we found a home we fell in love with. He was quick to suggest many personal contacts for support in securing a first time home owners loan. Including helping us to find a loaner that the seller appeared to not want to work with but the companies CEO allowed. That mortgage lender provided A+ support and transparency that enabled us to get an incredible fixed rate. Which we would not have gotten if John had not made that recommendation. Furthermore, John found and coordinated the home inspector, contractors, and the landlord of the rental we are leaving to help us move into our new home.If we ever need a realtor again we will be quick to call John and Yuleith Brooks at Capstone.

John Wesley Brooks and his team have been amazing to work with. He has helped us buy and more recently sell a property in the Huntsville area. We are out of state and he acts as our boots on the ground in all of these transactions.He has arranged rehab work to be completed on our rental properties and the negotiated repairs on our recent sale. His great design ideas and rehab partners have made it easy to manage our Alabama properties remotely.John has always been very accommodating and responsive with anything we have needed related to our transactions or properties. He and his wife Yulieth have worked around our schedule for calls or meetings and are always quick to help when we need it.This recent sale was a tricky property that didn't have the best neighbor.
