While we have sold numerous homes over the past 40+ years it's been a while since we have sold a house. Much has changed. We interviewed several realtors in the Barrington area and the formula was the same. Make everything white, stage the house at your expense....and sell at below market so their percent to asking ratio is in the high 97% or better. We had a very specific area in mind; wanting to downsize from an almost 7,000 sf home to something much more manageable. The market spike was over, but our subdivision was still very hot. What we were seeing was a group of agents that really didn't want to work hard for their sizable commission. We were fortunate to get in touch with Dean Tuberkis and his exceptional team. As we talked with Dean, we learned how critical he would be to our overall success. He sat, listened, asked questions and wanted to know what we wanted to do. We quickly learned we had made the right decision. Dean knows everyone. He's been in the Barrington area for well over twenty years and has the reputation for success for his clients. We sold the house in a few days but had numerous challenges over the remaining time to close. Dean, Jackie was all in and were always one step ahead of the issues. One unbelievable trait the team possessed was immediate follow up and call back. While our house wasn't at the ultra-high end of the homes that Dean represents; we never felt like our home was any less important to him. When we bought our new home, he was a great asset in recommending world class trades. We would recommend "The Dean Tubekis Team" to anyone. He's the best for the reasons above. Not just due to his overall record which is the best in the area and his continued success year over year, but due to how he works with his clients. He's professional, with the highest level of integrity. He's fun. He's able to calm his clients when it's needed and will go to bat for you when needed and you always feel he's there to represent your interests. Dean was excellent in helping to sell our home. He is very knowledgeable about the South Barrington area, and gave us great advice on the market value of our home and what repairs/renovations were worth doing vs not. He was very response and provided updates after each showing. When it came to negotiations, Dean provided sage advice that enabled us to close the deal quickly at a price we were happy with.

I highly recommend Dean! Thanks to Dean I was able to close on a hot home fast.
