Connor Burke saved the day for us. We initially listed our home with a friend who lived in our neighborhood, and after 3 months, showings had slowed considerably and we had no offers. We wanted to see more marketing effort, but our agent seemed to think a huge price drop was our only option. After substantial discussion, we mutually agreed to part company with the other agent, and I immediately reached out to Connor.I've known Connor since I worked with him as a Glynn County Middle School teacher several years back. He was an extremely respected and successful veteran educator when I went to work at his school, but he went out of his way to be friendly and welcoming to me and the other new teachers. During our time teaching together, I came to learn that Connor grew up in the Glynn County area. Due to that history and his naturally gregarious and upbeat nature, he knows nearly everyone and has deep roots. I knew he'd excel when he transitioned into a real estate career.Connor met with us within an hour of my first contact with him, and he immediately laid out a more aggressive marketing plan for our house. He immediately grasped that our waterfront lot was a major selling point, and he promised he'd make it a major focus of his marketing efforts. Connor paid a local fishing guide to be at our house during his initial open house, and he effectively leveraged social media to get us more views and clicks. Showings picked up immediately, but the right buyer remained elusive. But instead of suggesting a laissez-faire, "wait and see" approach or a huge price drop, Connor continued to brainstorm new ways to creatively market our house. He hosted more open houses, always with some added attractions. He made personalized marketing videos. He paid a substantial sum for Zillow Showcase. He constantly communicated with us, and his message was always, "Let's give THIS a try." When it came to marketing, he left no stone unturned.Long story short, Connor's energy and savvy marketing had us under contract in the price range we hoped for within 2.5 months. Unsurprisingly, the eventual buyers came from his personal network and had been his friends for some time. The contract wasn't the end of the transaction challenges, but Connor deftly handled the other hurdles that popped up during the due-diligence period. We had some home inspection challenges, but Connor's steady hand and relationship with the buyers helped everyone remain calm and focused as we worked out solutions that made everyone happy. I have no doubt that Connor's integrity, reputation, and the trust the buyers had in him personally were instrumental in getting us to closing. He was juggling other listings and working with other buyers throughout his time working with us, but we always felt like we were his only clients. No matter what was going on, he was always positive, composed, honest, and reassuring. Moving is always stressful, but Connor was a lot of fun to work with.Connor Burke will work relentlessly to sell your house or help you find the right property. He's professional across the board, exceptionally personable, and a family man of substance and integrity who'll do right by everyone involved in his transactions. There are plenty of realtors who will list your house, but Connor will SELL your house. We hired Connor after our house had been on the market for several months with no offers. He immediately brought in a big team to spruce things up, put together a seriously impressive marketing plan, and RAISED the asking price. After a flurry of showings, where he kept us in the loop every step of the way, Connor brought us an all-cash offer at 99% of the new higher price THREE DAYS after the listing went live. We have been blown away by his knowledge of the market, his professionalism, and his clear and proactive communication style. Connor went above & beyond for us. Very detail-oriented, communicative, & his follow-up was next level. We were 4 states away & he made the process as smooth as possible.
