Steph was very helpful in helping me find a home in the Truckee area that I could afford. My price point was tough but Steph kept her eyes open and was always available when I had a home that I wanted to look at. As a first time homebuyer her patience and willingness to explain the steps and process were extremely helpful. She never balked at my endless questions and she gave me the space to be over analytical per usual. All these things made me feel very comfortable with Steph. She was helping me through the process, adding sage advice and letting me take the steps I needed. Never pushy, always helpful. Happy to have worked with her and happy with the home she helped me find. Would highly recommend.

We LOVED working with Steph!! She's top-notch in her craft, she provides a white glove approach, and I would give her a 11/10 if I could. As first time home buyers, we felt that Steph actively listened to who we are as a couple and what we wanted in a home. In a competitive market, she lined up 13 homes for us to view in one day. It sounds crazy, but she's the type of person who will ride the highs and lows with you, She made us feel special and supported throughout our experience. Due to the pandemic, I was unable to travel to Tahoe to get my dated cabin ready to sell. Despite living in a different country, with Steph's help I embarked upon a remodel to update the house. She was instrumental in helping me transform the place and leave it looking better than ever. Her staging was absolutely above and beyond and really made the house shine. See met Steph maybe 2 years ago when we first started looking for a potential place at Northstar. She was very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable with the area. When we saw another property we were interested this year, we reached out to Steph again. Even though the property was pending by then, Steph was still very willing to help show the place. We eventually found another place with Steph’s help. She checked on us after closing and also shared a lot of local knowledge and resources with us which is awesome as we are new to the area. Steph deserves 10 stars. My list of requirements was not an immediate fit for the inventory of the Tahoe area. Over 6 months, Steph introduced me to the area, provided background on the communities, showed me available inventory as it became available, and - importantly, provided able and timely support in getting information and making offers. Her willingness to abide my process of discovery and readiness for action were greatly appreciated throughout the experience. She was always available and accommodated my schedule of periodic visits to the area.

In a hot market, with low supply, and overbidding, where properties fly off the shelf in a couple of days or sometimes literally in hours, you need the best to serve your interests. Don't compromise, it pays to research well. Steph Fillinger is different, she’s that person. She knows the Market inside out. She listens. She has relationships that allow her to pitch right, and she has a remarkable capacity to work behind the scenes to differentiate your offer. If you have to go non contingent, you can rely on her judgment to assess that risk, if you have to close in 14 days and don't quite have enough cash, she can introduce instant hard money sources and the best Finance Broker in Town to secure the takeout. She builds confidence and solutions. And she knows her client, she won’t push; but at the right time, she will strike. We won, because we trusted her, and she delivered. We wholeheartedly recommend Steph, in all price ranges. In my view experience doesn't count, unless its in the right hands. Values count, that’s why she’s the best.
