Scott did not do anything to earn our business as he was only affiliated with our builder, Gehan. The only reason we went on board with Scott is because we were told he could get us out of our apartment lease which we later found out that many people can do. After the brief initial conversation about the lease when we started the process, there was zero communication with us despite being our realtor. We were acting as our own realtor by communicating with the builder, the lender and everything else. We received no updates from Scott until we missed our closing and then he decided to actually work for the money he was receiving. After an appraisal issue postponed our closing to the following week, Scott offered to pay a portion of the appraisal discrepancy alongside our lender, however, once the appraisal was approved he rescinded the offer despite being such a low amount. My experience with Scott was terrible and it was very clear from the start it was all about money, there's no way I would suggest anyone to sign with Scott when the realtor is supposed to look out for your best interest.
