Mike's experience was invaluable in evaluating the home we chose, making a solid offer, finding and addressing a few small things, and getting us to close with minimal hassle and on time. Mike's connections in lending and home inspections led us to 2 solid companies that also exceeded our expectations. Mike was patient with our questions, always responsive to our inquiries in less than 24 hours, and cheerful and supportive. I couldn't ask for a better realtor.

Stout professional.This was our third housing transaction, first 2 were ho-hum realtors focused on greasing transactions by any means necessary. Mike sat with us patiently over winter in Lawrence, which his son helps facilitate. He expertly helped us navigate objections - some reasonable and some absurd - with excellent guidance while avoiding unreasonable concessions.If I had to nitpick, I'm annoyed he's not available in Ohio; I would retain him in a heartbeat. I am highly impressed with the Expert care that was provided to me by Michael. He listened to my needs as a client and attended to each one of them. I was out of State and for the most part every part of the process had to be done electronically and by phone. Michael explained and walked me through each step. Mike was always available for any showing we requested on our purchase. He checked the comps usually before and was ready with a suggested offer. On the selling side he knows everyone you need to get your house setup and has good suggestions as far as value to sell. He's a good communicator, has realistic expectations for what a property is worth, and he knows the Johnson County area extremely well.

This was the second time I had the pleasure of working with Michael Russell. I was fortunate to have found him in a hurry when listing a home in dealing with an employment transfer out of state. I listened to his suggestions and my property had an offer above my expectations within 48 hours. In keeping my promise of ever returning to the KC Market, I sought out Michael again. He couldn't have made the process any less stressful than he did. Both myself and my soon-to-be wife couldn't have asked for a better partner in our find. We have used Mike Russell to buy and sell houses. We have been extremely pleased with Michael's professionalism. He goes well beyond previous realtors we have worked with. He not only shows us homes quickly when new listings come on but on several occasions sent us notice of new listings we had not yet seen on MLS. In fact the last flip home we bought was because he sent us info on it. He is a great negotiator both on the selling end and the buying end. We wouldn't use anyone else!

Michael was very easy to work with, incredibly professional, and dedicated to finding the right home for me. Michael took the time to sit down to understand the type of property I was looking for, the area I was looking in, and the situation I was in when it came to looking for houses. I never felt pressured into proceeding with a home I didn't feel comfortable with. The only reason I didn't continue my home search was that my professional and academic career changed, and I had to voluntarily postpone my house search.
