Helped me buy and sell homes • 2025
She helped up sell last year at the time of the election, when most buyers and sellers were simply holding still waiting to see what the markets would do. We wanted to purchase another property that fit our specific needs better and to do we needed to sell our house quickly. She helped us navigate this interesting time. She not only found a great buyer for our house, but she was able to get the seller of the house we wanted to purchase to come down in price to make up for the amount we had to come down in price on our house. It was a win/win for all parties involved. There are always reasons people need to buy and sell…sometimes you can’t wait for the market to change. A knowledgeable and experienced agent can help educate all parties involved, including other agents on how to make the needs of each buyer and seller come together. The LHG is top notch and has the experience you need to navigate any market at the time that YOU need. LHG customer service goes far beyond the transaction. They can provide resources to help you prep your home so it will show the very best, a talented, professional photographer to provide incredible quality marketing, to dropping off moving boxes when it’s time for the final move.LHG is a FULL-Service team we recommend to anyone looking for the Success with their real estate goals!!

Lindsey sold our house in San Luis Obispo about four years ago. Overall, the sale went fine. But there are reasons I’ve been sitting on this review for a long time.I was living in Japan at the time and made that very clear in our first conversation. I told Lindsey directly: “Because I’m overseas, I’m going to need help with a few things that would normally fall on the seller.” I wanted to be upfront. Lindsey assured me—confidently—that this wouldn’t be a problem. She told me she and her team regularly handled out-of-area clients and would support me however needed. That reassurance is what made me feel I’d found the right agent. Before signing, I did my homework. One warning came up repeatedly: do not agree to a listing where the same firm also represents the buyer. When I raised this concern—because it was already baked into the agreement—Lindsey was quick with the right answer. “Don’t worry, Ed. I work for you. My job is to get you the best price possible, no matter where the buyer comes from.” It sounded good. By then, though, I was already on the hook.As the process moved forward, Lindsey became harder to reach. Showings continued, and she or someone from her team was always present. I know this because I could see and hear everything through our outdoor cameras. Then one day, a different agent showed up with a couple I didn’t recognize. The doors were locked. She tried calling—no answer. She became visibly frustrated and finally said, in front of the buyers: “She did this on purpose. She doesn’t want us to see the house. They already have an in-house offer.”That moment wasn’t comforting. But anyone who’s researched real estate knows the industry comes with warnings. You do your best, and sometimes that’s all you can do.So why write this now—four years later?Because I was recently clearing old files and came across a photo that said everything. After the sale closed, I asked Lindsey to mail a few items from our garage to me overseas and to help sell two high-end bicycles. These were exactly the “outside the norm” requests I’d warned her about before hiring her. When the box arrived, at the very bottom were two 10-pound dumbbells.Yes—this is where you laugh.Because whoever did that knew exactly what they were doing. It was a beautifully executed piece of reprisal. "Oh, you want us to ship your stuff internationally? Fine—enjoy the shipping fee." And yes, the shipping costs were passed directly on to me. Bottom line: caveat emptor.Lindsey talks a great game and does a competent job, better than most I imagine but, she's no angel. Whoever you go with - do not agree to pay buyer-side commission—you’re setting yourself up for missed opportunities. And don’t be surprised when the reality doesn’t quite match what was promised before you signed on the dotted line.

Helped me buy home • 2020
We started working with Lindsey in August 2020 and by the end of October we were in contract. We could not have asked for a better realtor. She very quickly got to know what we were looking for and started showing us houses that were really close to our needs. We looked at a few that weren’t quite right, and then she told us about the house we eventually bought. She got us in quickly, even with all the Covid precautions, sat down with us to write the best offer and shepherded us through the process from start to finish. She not only quickly got us into our dream house, but she has been a great resource for everything from locksmiths to architects and everything in-between. We are so lucky to have found her.

Lindsey is an experienced real estate professional who knows the SLO market. She is very responsive and worked around the clock for us to find our dream vacation home. In addition, she has provided us with excellent recommendations for our home remodeling needs. Even after we closed on the home she has reached out multiple times to ensure we are taken care of. It’s been such a pleasure working with her, I highly recommend her and her team!

We have used Lindsey twice now over the course of a few years. The first time we were on the selling in getting rid of a rental property in the area. We lived over 300 miles away and Lindsey made the entire process completely painless for us. Just recently we purchased a home in the same area and used Lindsey once again for that transaction. She helped us find and get into the home of our dreams in just over 30 days. Not an easy feat in a competitive market that is saturated with escrows often taking twice that time!!

I can't say enough great things about Lindsey. Having been in the business, I reached out to a friend who knew the SLO area very well. I asked him to find me a top notch relator and Lindsey is it! Super professional, made everything super easy, and was super efficient. She went out of her way to help me since I was still in Austin and I feel like part of the reason we got the house was because of her relationship with the builder. She definitely went above and beyond and I can't be more pleased. I swear I said I would never move again but if I do, Lindsey will definitely be selling my house!
