Jay helped us sell our home, and we couldn't be happier with how smoothly everything went! Our experience was fabulous. We interviewed 4 realtors to sell our commercial building. Jay's "can do" attitude sold us. The others started minimizing expectations BEFORE we even signed a contract. Jay told us exactly what he would do and how he would do it. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Not being knowledgeable about commercial sales, it was so helpful to have him as our advocate. Highly recommend

We cannot say enough good words about Jay Hooks! He is professional, a great communicator and went above and beyond in helping us with the purchase of our new home. He kept us up to date on every stage of our purchase, coordinating with the seller’s agent. He gave us good advice in drafting our offer as well as recommendations on extra asks from the builder. He was always available to meet at the new house for inspections, measuring inside, or assessing the lot and drainage. Overall he did whatever it took to make us feel comfortable with the process.

Jay was professional and very knowledgeable of the area. Jay was able to provide market analysis on our neighborhood and the city of Rocky Mount. He spent a lot of time in our initial meeting walking us thru the selling process and what his firm had to offer. His photographer was professsional and did a great job as well.I am 62 years old and the best experience I have had in real estate. I would recomend Jay and our experience was great!

Working with Jay Hooks was a great and refreshing experience. He was hands-on at all times. He actually had to go out of town for a while during the first few days of listing our property, yet never missed a beat regarding the transaction. He was diligent in answering all of our (many) questions and quick at getting answers when he wasn't quite sure. He gave us suggestions and recommendations that helped us make good decisions related to selling our property. Consequently, our property sold in 2 days, settled in less than 4 weeks, and we received our check one day after settlement - and we live in another state!Working with Jay to list the property a few years ago was just as rewarding. The help with negotiations, and his explaining every aspect of the purchase led to a smooth and rapid sale, which is why we didn't consider any other agent when we were ready to sell.I can't say enough good things about Jay Hooks. He gets the job done quickly and efficiently, always with his client's best interest in mind. My husband and I recommend him highly!
