Thinking of selling your house in the Asheville area? You need to go with Mosaic - specifically Elizabeth Putnam. I was lucky enough to get that recommendation from no fewer than four different people, all of whom sang her praises, just as I'm about to. Elizabeth is amazing! In my case, she knew the market cold, was able to evaluate my house perfectly in one brief walk-through, and didn't bs me in the least: she told me exactly what to expect in a down market and what we could do about it. She knew exactly what updates to make to improve my position, she knew all the best (and most affordable) people to do the work, and, best of all, she was terrific about being able to work within the budget I set. About that budget: realtors almost always tell you to throw money at your house to make it more attractive, and I really didn't want to, but Elizabeth very gently explained the benefits of spending a modest amount. The end result? We were able to list the house for $50K more than expected prior to any updates, and we sold it in under 24 hours. Well above asking. For cash. Yep - as I was watching other people struggle to get showings, Elizabeth was guiding me to an easy sale and one hell of an ROI on the money I spent making some updates. And results/money aside (although in my case they're hard to ignore), Elizabeth is just a delight: smart, funny, kind, and easy to work with. So, yeah: if you're selling, Elizabeth Putnam at Mosaic is the way to go!

Elizabeth is incredibly knowledgeable, very personable, and an absolute pleasure to work with! My sweet vacation rental property sustained extensive damage from Hurricane Helene, and the housing market in Black Mountain was in a terrible slump. Needless to say, I was very nervous about selling, and especially at the price Elizabeth was suggesting. After my year-long process of repairs, I relinquished control and let her take the reins. This dynamic realtor was hands-on throughout the entire process. She highlighted the curb appeal, set up the house for showings, hired a professional photographer, designed a beautiful brochure, and included an aerial video in the advertising. She kept a keen eye on the market, met with local realtors, and used her exceptional marketing skills to determine the property value. Her confidence that the property would sell at the asking price definitely put me at ease. And the best part. The property was under contract within 48 hours and at the price she listed!
