Edna did an amazing job for us. We were selling a house that was 700 miles away from where we live and it needed a few things done to get it through the buyer's FHA inspection and and she offered to handle those issues for us. Edna took care of those issues and I couldn't be happier.Edna and I talked over a period of 3+ years as we were deciding about when was the right time for us to sell, and she did the market research and provided recommendations as we went through the the idea if selling at least twice. She was very patient always letting us know she would be there when we decided to sell. She has an excellent knowledge of the Smith Mountain Lake area and the market. I can't truly express how smooth Edna made this sale work for us. I highly recommend her if you have need for a realtor in the area.
Excellent job, very professional and very responsive. Extremely knowledgeable about Smith Mountain Lake. Great in networking with other realtors in the area advertising skills and marketing skills were extremely strong. Edna, was great communicator kept us extremely informed all the way during the listing and the selling process would highly recommend . Was very helpful in the process of knocking out the punchlist and working on the Doc area with AEP. She has a lot of contacts with people in the area to do odd jobs and helps get things done quickly and promptly.

We've known Edna for 15 years. She helped us buy our home on SML in 2010 and then sell that home in 2025. Our first contact with Edna convinced us to move to Moneta even though we were looking for properties all around Virginia. Her contagious love of SML and its community convinced us to look no further. Her negotiating skills helped us to get a home during a whirlwind weekend of making offers on three potential properties. So, when it was time to sell, we knew we wanted Edna to handle that as well. She was patient and extremely helpful with our many delays and needs caused by traveling weekly back and forth between our new home and the old one (a 5 hour trip). We've bought and sold 6 homes over the years and no other realtor has come close to Edna's attention to detail. She is on top of everything. Her open, honest, friendly personality and often much-needed sense of humor kept us going as the stress of coordinating 3 sets of movers, last minute fixes to winter property damage, and the sale of the house in 48 hours necessitating a packing-up marathon had us teetering on the edge of exhaustion! She kept us on track, on schedule, and always offered to help with literally anything we needed. We will miss her! Make sure you don't.
Edna is by far the most energetic realtor I have ever dealt with. She is very professional and goes well beyond the call of duty. We were selling a 2nd home, so we were not there very often (I was ill and the weather was cold). Edna and her teammate husband Brian did everything that needed doing without my having to ask. She introduced me to a contractor who did some required projects and Brian took pictures to enable us to get AEP approval of the boathouse & septic system and there were many more things that both of them volunteered to do. I could go on and on, but you get the idea--they're an amazing team and you won't go wrong hiring her to buy or sell.
