On May 30th my husband and I were looking to buy a property in Winton, CA. We met Debbie at a given listing in Winton and explained that we would like to make a cash offer on the home even though we knew the home was in need of several fixtures. She replied that she would follow up through email which did not happen, so I decided to contact her in return and she mentioned she did not recall any cash offer mentioned. She then said she remember me not looking too interested and decided not to follow up. The home is now pending with a different buyer. She was negligent at her job and I would not recommend Debbie Engel. I wanted Debbie to help me purchase the home where she was the agent assigned to. I thought that if she represented me it would be the quickest way to purchase that specific listing.

What can I say. This lady is so intelligent and motivated to work so hard for her clients trying to get them the best deal and most money. She really knows her stuff. I researched so many sites and so many different realtors looking for the right person to help me with buying and selling property. There is only one word to describe Debbie Engel's actions during this short sale and that is perseverance. Throughout this entire 10 month sale, Ms. Engel was professional and continued to do what was required during some stressful times brought on by the bank she was dealing with but also from me, the client. Debbie did her best to keep me informed as to what was going on and whether it was good or bad news, she would give me a call. She, literally, spent days on the phone trying to get answers from the bank as to where the process was and when was it going to be completed. I know it was days because I spent hours just trying to get some answers from them that I needed to have. Many times throughout this ordeal, Debbie would call me and calm me down and keep the focus on the end result. While I have been typing this, I though of an idea to highly recommend her because if she can accomplish the impossible on a short sale that took forever, just think what she can do on a regular listing. Highly recommended and if I could rate her a ten I would.

Prior to her being recommended to me by a friend, I Had never met Debbie. She is so personable and friendly, I immediately had a rapport with her. Her knowledge and positive attitude won me over. I had been told by others my property was very unique and may be a hard sell. Debbie said she did not see it that way. She professionally evaluated the house and consulted others. She handled everything and kept me updated. . She really got out there and marketed my house. Debbie had my place sold in a month for much more than I had hoped for prior to that first meeting with her. We are very happy with her and definitely recommend to others.

My wife and I needed to sell her mother's home, which was a bit of an emotional thing, since my wife grew up in that home and her mother is now in a nursing home. Debbie was able to assist us in selling it. We felt relieved that we had someone with experience and who is so personable and understanding of our situation. The house was not on the market long! Price-wise, we got what we wanted out of the deal! The whole process was trying at times, with the inspections and all, but Debbie, with her knowledge, steered us through it all. I would definitely say that our experience with her was fantastic! We still keep in touch as friends!

I recently bought a home in Merced, I went on zillow and found Debbie as the listed agent on the property and sent her a message. Since this was the first time that I was working with her, I was not sure how it will all go. She called me immediately and I knew that I picked the right person to work with. She is awesome, very professional, friendly, always responsive, attention to detail and a great person to work with. This is not my first home purchase, I have worked with other agents before, but she is far ahead in comparison to others with respect with client service and supporting through the entire process of buying a home, I look forward to working with her again.

I was looking to buy a home and used another agent that didn't understand the importance of finding a home quickly due to relocation. I was referred to Debbie and she showed us homes and by the 3rd house we would walk into a house and she would point out the positive and negatives based on our prior showings. A home in our desired neighborhood dropped a substantial amount and she showed us the house the morning of drop. We put an offer that morning and we moved into our home within 3 months of working with her. When we are ready to sell she will be the only agent we will use.
