Bart was amazing to work with! We are from out of town and he took the time to video call if we couldn't make it down there to view the home, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and just made the whole home buying process a breeze. I would highly recommend Bart over and over again if you are starting your home search

We used Bart to sell the house we were living in and to find another one for us in the same town. His estimate of what our house could fetch was within $1000 of what it actually sold for and I chalk that up to Bart knowing his territory and the market. He was also able to find us something in our range that had exactly what we wanted from our next house (more bathrooms, more garage space and a bigger yard, in town). He was always available and reachable for both ends of our deal and if he wasn't he always let us know when he would be available and then he was. He is very good with technology and made our selling house look very appealing. We had an accepted offer in a week and as we were in London, England at the time, we had to do all the paperwork electronically. Bart already does everything electronically, so doing the paperwork on my phone was amazingly simple. Better than previous homesales I've done. I would highly recommend Bart to any of my friends or family!

We have worked with Bart to purchase 2 properties and sell 1 property. I have always felt that he is very knowledgeable regarding the properties available on the Twin Lakes. He is honest, quick to respond, and stays on top of all transaction details. He listens, offers advice, and in the end allows us to make our own decision and guide our own way through the purchase and sales processes. We feel that we will probably stay in our current house forever, but if we ever do move again on the lakes, we will definitely want to work with Bart again!

Bart is a great agent to work with! He is very knowledgeable of the local riverfront market, took great photos and helped sell our property quickly. He answered all our questions and is easy to get ahold of when you need something. He was also very friendly and offered great advice on how to spruce things up, so our property would show well. We would recommend Bart to anyone looking to sell in the area.

My husband and I were relocating into the Monticello area from Brownsburg IN. Bart Hickman was referred to us through our realtor in the Indy area. Having never met Bart we were unsure of his skills as a realtor.After meeting Bart and working with him during the purchase of our home, we couldn’t be happier with his performance.Bart was always on time, answered all of our questions, and returned phone calls and emails quickly. He was not pushy while showing us homes. He allowed my husband and I to communicate with one another without interrupting or speaking until he was asked a question. When we found the home we wanted, Bart went above and beyond to help us close the deal. Our experience with Bart has been stellar. He is friendly, professional, honest, courteous, and calm. There is a reason Bart is so successful and that is because he offers the highest level of professionalism, knowledge and customer service to his clients. Bart always made himself available, responded quickly and never once made me feel like I was not a priority. He was honest and reasonable in his evaluations and recommendations. He went beyond his "duties" in helping me get the house prepared for sale before the listing, during the listing, post-inspection and the final sale. As a bonus, Bart is a very genuine and personable individual who makes the client-realtor relationship both comfortable and trusting.

Bart was wonderful to work with! He not only had excellent knowledge about the homes we viewed (and there were A LOT), he was equally knowledgeable regarding the lake, sea walls, watercraft, and even good local tradesmen! I would not hesitate to call him again!
