We truly cannot recommend Stephanie Scriven highly enough. She stuck with us through five months of house hunting, showings, offers, and negotiations in an absolutely wild market, and somehow managed to make what could have been an incredibly stressful process feel manageable.Our situation was not exactly simple. We were looking for a home that could work for a multigenerational household while also accommodating the realities of our professional lives and a very specific set of needs. Stephanie took the time to understand all of it and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. She was thoughtful, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about how to navigate all of the moving pieces.She was also exceptionally responsive throughout the entire process. Working with Stephanie was a positive experience overall. She was kind, knowledgeable about the local market, and always willing to listen to my questions. I felt that she gave me good information, and she was right about most of the things we discussed.For me, though, the experience sometimes felt more transactional than personal. I didn't meet Stephanie in person until the final walk-through, and I think having an opportunity earlier in the process to sit down together, walk through what we were looking for, and get to know us as buyers would have made the experience feel more connected.I also found that I sometimes needed more time and explanation before feeling confident about a decision. There were times when I felt a little rushed or out of my league, and even when Stephanie answered my questions, I occasionally found myself wanting a second opinion before moving forward. I think that's more about my own need to understand the "why" behind a decision than about Stephanie not being helpful.Overall, Stephanie knew the market, answered my questions, and helped us get through the process of buying our home. I just would have appreciated a more hands-on and personal experience along the way. Having more time to talk through our goals and options would have helped me feel more confident in the decisions I was making.

I cannot say enough great things about Stephanie. She's flat out the best realtor I have ever come across:- With her leadership, we had ~60 showings in 4 days, and ~20 offers- We sold well above ask and beat even my best expectation- Incredibly responsive, usually an hour or less on anything- Excellent strategist, advising me how to best prep and position the home for the marketI mean, she was there for everything with me. Truly an amazing realtor and a step above the rest. Pro tip: let her stage your home, she's fantastic at it and it adds so much value for so little cost.

Stephanie was THE person we needed for our home-buying story~ If it weren't for her, we would not have met and fallen in love with our first home. And we would not have all the other folks who made the home-buying journey as efficient and easy as possible. As first time home-buyers, we needed someone who gets the mindset of folks who can get lost and overwhelemed with the whole process. Stephanie was definitely the worst real estate agent I ever did business with. She pushed us to make a decision to put in an offer. She knew nothing about the area in Clay, NY where we were searching. She guided us to make an offer that was much too high. She cited current market conditions which didn't really apply to our situation. After the purchase offer was accepted she did nothing to help us . She was fairly unresponsive. After closing, we found our key underneath the mat at the front door of the house. Even though we closed twelve days later than she estimated, the sellers didn't have the house completely empty. She also tried to pressure me to do the final walkthrough in fifteen minutes. After closing, we found our key underneath the mat at the front door of the house. In my opinion, the only thing Stephanie cared about was receiving her commission while doing as little work as possible.

Stephanie is absolutely amazing! As someone who was buying their first home it can be very scary and Stephanie helped me out so much through the process! Anytime I had a question or concern Stephanie was right there to answer it and help me out/walk me through whatever came about! I also loved how responsive Stephanie was! Whenever I wanted to see a house she got me right in and there was never any trouble! I HIGHLY recommend working with Stephanie if you are ever in need of selling or buying a house!
