5+ Stars - We couldn't be happier with the work Kathy did for us on the purchase of our new home. Once we decided to buy, Kathy took the reigns and made the buying process as smooth as could be. During the waiting period to close, Kathy introduced us to the sellers. We immediately developed a bond with them. Thank you Kathy for guiding us through the buying process and introducing us to such wonderful people. Kathy also worked closely with the brokers selling our home in Renton. She really took the stress out of selling and buying homes at the same time. Our selling brokers commented on how easy Kathy is to collaborate with. Thank you Kathy...you are the best realtor in Whatcom County.

There are not enough words to describe the overwhelming gratitude we have for Kathy and her team; we had received a challenging health diagnosis and needed to sell our condo rather quickly. In the midst of this challenging time, Kathy came in and offered her amazing services--not only to stage the condo, but to take care of everything, knowing we had a lot on our plate. We packed up the things that mattered (this was a vacation home) and returned home to begin treatment. The condo was beautifully staged, and she and her amazing team set to work to market the condo. She sold it, and we never had to come back for any reason--she handled it all. It is hard to even imagine how we could have done this without her help and care and going above and beyond in every way. And to think she did it for a condo sale--not a large sale compared to her usual properties. We cannot recommend her enough.

I can't say enough good things about Kathy and her team. They worked with me for over a year on an emotionally difficult sale of my late husband's home, starting in September 2023 before he passed away. The house was our summer and fall seasonal home. Her team supplied many, many boxes and packing materials, and they helped me pack lots of china, framed photographs, and many other personal items to ready the house for showings, long before I had even signed any listing agreement. They hauled away old electronics and took care of taking things I was donating to various charities. When my husband passed away in Europe just before we planned to list the house, Kathy even came to the Vancouver airport in Thanksgiving traffic to pick me up when I was finally able to return home. In addition to managing showings while I was back in my winter home in AZ, she helped me deal with various maintenance issues that arose. And although it took a few months, she came up with the perfect buyers for my house. I don't know why anyone who wants to sell their Semiahmoo house would use any other agent.

Kathy was a rare gem in the world of RE agents. We were in a difficult situation with an elderly owner who was sent to the hospital and would not be returning home and we lived out of state so could not be at the house during the sale process. Kathy took charge and literally was our boots on the ground for everything. She packed up and staged the house beautifully. Listed it at just the right price to sell immediately at close to full price. Worked with the buyers and hired all the people needed to provide the repairs and closed in record time. She was incredibly diligent sorting and bringing all the belongings to the owner and finding agents to sell or dispose of everything. We could never have managed this without her and she was wonderful to work with. I would recommend her to everyone in the area. She is a fabulous realtor and a wonderful person.

After buying 5 houses over our lifetimes, we can say with some authority that Kathy is a rare find as real estate agents go. So knowledgeable honest, hard working, so very helpful and kind. For example, she went out of her way to help us find beautiful house furnishings and furniture or our new house and then arraigned to have them moved into our new house for free! She arraigned to have all our our used boxes and stuffings removed at not cost. She also holds weekly get togethers so the various new people who move into the neighborhood can get to know each other and the locals. She is all we could ever ask for and more in an agent.

We found a perfect vacation home with Kathy's help. We had limited viewing time and Kathy worked really hard to ensure we wasted no time. She listened carefully, narrowed down the choices, took videos of walkthrus and arranged excellent viewings. After two 1.5 hour visits, we found our home! This would not have been possible without Kathy.She continued to be very helpful, knowledgable and supportive through the purchase negotiations. closing and beyond.Highly recommended!

Having accepted a new job opportunity, my husband and I were excited to head off to upstate Washington. Upon the recommendation by a family member I contacted Kathy to help in the search for a new home. With Kathy's expert knowledge of the area and her willingness to really listen and understand my preferences, we purchased a home in two days. We LOVE our new home and the area we are in. As much of our transactions were handled out of state, it was very important to be in contact with Kathy at all times of the day. All of our calls/emails/texts were always answered promptly and Kathy had answers to all of our questions. Kathy is an excellent agent who exceeded our expectations!

We decided to explore Blaine as a potential home after visiting the area on a trip to Vancouver, BC. Deciding Vancouver was too expensive, we focused on the nearest US city-Blaine. We asked Kathy to show us the area after researching her background. She has lived here for many years and was a member of City government so we reasoned that she would know the community well. Boy, does she! Kathy helped us narrow our Zillow search before we came for another visit. Once she started showing us homes it was clear that not only did she know the area, she knew who lived in almost every home we passed. We found our ultimate home on the first day because Kathy had a very good understanding of our preferences and did not waste our time showing us non-starters just because they were her listings. Kathy was excellent in the negotiation phase and every aspect of the closing went off without a hitch even though we were out of state. Equally important, about a year after our purchase a problem with the Seller's Disclosure was discovered. I contacted Kathy and she immediately dealt with the issue in a firm yet very professional manner. The issue was fixed and we are very happy campers.We have made several friends here that also used Kathy as their realtor. While apparently not many have written reviews I can tell you that I have heard multiple compliments and no complaints. If you are considering Blaine in general or Semiahmoo in particular, my opinion is that Kathy is the best.
