Darla was great to work with as both a first time buyer and first time seller. She was committed to helping me find the perfect house, walking me through the buying process, helped me secure a great price, and had a great list of local trusted companies ready for me when I moved in. When it came time to sell it, she did the same. I would recommend Darla to anyone looking for a house in Louisville.

Darla was amazing. The first time I spoke with Darla about relocating to the Louisville from the Indy area was late January 2025. By the first week in May we were moving into our wonderful townhome in Louisville, all thanks to Darla. I knew next to nothing about the area other than I wanted to be closer to our daughter and her family. Darla was able to find us the perfect home very close by and negotiated a great deal for us when there were very few houses for sale in the area. She was a great communicator and her knowledge of the area was impressive. She also referred us to a lender who was also wonderful to work with. The transition from IN to KY was much easier than I could have hoped for. If we were to ever even think about buying another home I would not hesitate to work with Darla again. She helped with the process from beginning to end. I feel we not only found a realtor but a friend as well.

My wife found the house on Zillow, and after reviewing it together, we saw that it met our needs in both location and features. I scheduled a tour for December 7, 2024, and our agent, Darla Balbridge, showed our entire family around. The home needed a few repairs, but after negotiating, we reached an agreement on the price. As a first-time homebuyer, I really appreciated Darla’s guidance throughout the process—from the home inspection to working with the lender. She is seriously the absolute best! She is well organized, efficient, knows the right questions to ask and is not afraid to ask them. She is patient and puts no pressure on you to buy. She has every resource you could need to get you through the process. She had access to attorneys, foundation specialists, plumbers, etc. She will respond to you anytime of the day. Never one single unanswered question. She will get you to the closing table and you will enjoy the process. She’s also just such a great person and cute as a button!

It’s really hard for me to express how amazing Darla was in a brief review, because she was so much more than a fantastic realtor, she became my trusted ally during (and after) the purchase of my home. This was my first house and I was quite nervous because I lived out of state, didn’t know many people and wasn’t really familiar with the neighborhoods here in Louisville. Luckily, the research I did for realtors here led me to Darla and she was an absolute blessing! She took the time to really listen to what my needs and preferences were with my search and did an incredible job with helping me locate the perfect house! But Darla’s expertise wasn’t limited to real estate, she was also incredibly well connected with so many resources in Louisville and put me in touch with the best inspectors, insurance companies, plumbers, electricians and even movers! And even after the home was purchased, I have reached out do Darla a number of times about different things related to the home and Louisville and she was always responsive and incredibly helpful in every instance. What is really striking about Darla, above her kindness, knowledge and dedication, is that she truly cares about doing the absolute best job she can for you and loves what she does. People like Darla are just a rare gem in today’s world and I am grateful to have found her. I can’t imagine the purchase of this home and my move to Louisville without her!

Bar none, no one I've ever hired for any kind of job has worked harder, been nicer, been more responsive, been wiser, or been more knowledgable! EXCELLENT REALTOR!!! A treasure. Examples: in our selling process, which has been a challenge because people have been breaking into the empty house and taking showers and making little messes, Darla hired someone to fix the things they had broken, and also to fix a leak that sprang out of nowhere. She also offered to use her own Triple A account to have a nonfunctioning car we left in front of the house towed 80 miles to a repair shop in our own city. She and her son cleaned messes in the house. And more. (Please call Darla, but don't ask her to work as hard for you as she has worked for us!)
