Val went above and beyond just listing and selling my $1,000,000+ plus luxury home. He and his team coordinated the miscellaneous repairs with different contractors that are common after inspections. The most incredible part of this is he was always happy to help, take on more responsibility, and utilize his network. What most impressed me with Val is his way of negotiating. You can tell he has been doing this for decades with his calm yet direct manner of negotiation. He doesn’t nickel and dime you with fees and is a man of his word. Always available day or night and for a busy agent, that is rare. I am grateful he sold my home and highly recommend using Val to anyone needing a Realtor in Little Rock.

First of all the house I rented was infested with roaches and ladybugs. Electrical problems were reported on numerous occasions. 3 of the light switches and 2 of the electrical receptacles didn’t work. It took several days for them to send people out, and they were able to fix one switch. The window AC unit upstairs had mold in it and ladybugs dead everywhere. There are cracks in the drywall everywhere. There is a paper plate taped to the wall in one of the bedrooms. No idea why it was there. This house was so bad I wouldn’t let my kid stay the night with me. When I moved in there was junk left in the garage, as well as 2 rugs and a hose left on the patio. There were leaves everywhere and the yard was not “maintained”. A walkthrough is supposed to occur which could have been scheduled when I texted them a day before my scheduled move out date. I informed them on 8/30 that I had moved everything out. I had vacuumed and mopped the entire house, and cleaned the bathroom. The house looked better than when I moved in. The yard has been mowed and weedeated. Leaves were left just as they were when I moved in, in addition to the stuff that was there (hose, rugs, junk in the garage.) He is stating the house needs to be cleaned. At most there is a spot of detergent that was left in the laundry room that happened when the washer was moved out. I would not recommend renting from this group specifically because it seems they will find a way to keep your deposit by any means necessary. I’ve rented from several properties and have always done my very best to take proper care of their property, in addition to ensuring the place was cleaned when I left. I have great rental history. This is by far the worst place I have rented from and extremely overpriced for what it is. I was also charged a random $100 fee 6 mo into my 9 mo lease. No explanation. Val is also a very hard person to get a hold of.
Val is very responsive which contradicts a lot of the poor reviews on this website. From early morning until late at night, he will respond to inquiries and makes you feel like his most important client. We had a stress-free home buying process which was great and all thanks to Val and his team!
I just bought a house with Val and his team and couldn’t be happier. Him and Wendy made the process smooth and enjoyable. They were very attentive to me, listened to my preferences and concerns, and ultimately found me a great house. What really made the process special was the customer service. Val has connections throughout Little Rock, and being new to the area, this has been incredibly valuable. Highly recommend!
Listed home, but didn't sell • Little Rock, AR • 2019
Val Hansen was the first person we went to to sell our post-graduate home near UAMS. We did not have a good experience.He gave poor advice prior to attempting to sell our home that likely limited our chance of sale. Mr. Hansen's employees showed our home after a chandelier had broken on the floor (we were not notified). He showed the home with a vagrant's belongings in the yard (we were not notified). Mr. Hansen had our house on the market for three months. We then fired Mr. Hansen and hired a new service and got several offers within days to weeks and had our home sold within the month.
Val and his team are great! We really appreciated the responsiveness during our buy and sell process. Even recommended good contractors for items needing to be fixed on our home!
I'm 82 years old and have bought quite a few homes in my lifetime. In all my dealings with real estate agents, I've never had a better experience or received the professional attention like I did with Mr. Hansen. He was a joy to work with and I highly recommend him!

When inquiring about Mr. Hansen’s rental properties through a small introductory email, I was met with a curt, one sentence, all caps response suggesting that I am looking too far in advance for housing rentals (3 months beforehand) and with an air that seemed to suggest that my questions were not worth his time.
