TJ did an amazing job finding the right buyer for our home. He helped us feel comfortable with the process. We called other realtors but decided to go with TJ . We felt he was honest and was going to work hard to get us a fair price for our home, which he did. We are very happy with our whole experience with TJ.

I selected T.J. because of his years of experience, vast knowledge of the area and the market, and his overall professionalism. I was impressed with the way he led the negotiation, walked me through each step and reassured me that each phase was being handled which was critical since I was living 6 hours away at the time. Preparing for the closing and the closing itself was seamless and even since the closing, T.J. has been available to answer questions. If I had it to do over, I would definitely partner with T.J. O'Brien again.

TJ is an Horry County/Myrtle Beach native so he knows the area backwards and forwards. His team is great to work with. They leave no stone unturned so it’s a worry free process. I have bought and sold many properties in the North Myrtle Beach area and used different agents before I found TJ, I wish I had run across him earlier

T.J. was great to work with throughout the entire selling process. He walked us through and clearly explained all documents. He promptly answered our calls and questions. We sold our condo within a couple of days and assisted us throughout the closing process.

Lackadaisical- The only reason he gained my listing was because his mother referred me to him. Over promised and under delivered. Told me “I can get you $65k more then you would get on a for sale by owner,” but I got less. Uninformed on the market comps, I had to tell him what my neighbors were getting for their houses when he was telling me to settle for the quickest deal. TJ was non communicative throughout the process, vacations, golf, games and prom were all his excuses. He never informed me of what to expect throughout the process until the buyers agent would schedule something 2 hours before they were trying to enter my home. Never received instructions on what to do with keys for the buyer, I had to call his mother to ask her the standards. I thought many agents relied on word of mouth, but he just relies on his mother. Never even was told when they were given access, money distributed or thank you. Definitely will not refer him or utilize him for my next purchase or sale. Shop around for other agents, prior to signing with him.

My wife and I have used T.J. on two different occasions, once buying and once selling. He helped us purchase a home in Myrtle Beach in 2012 and then helped sell 10 years later. Over the coarse of those 10 years, we became very good friends. To say he goes a step above the rest would be a understatement. he's not only honest.... he's very knowledgeable with current market values. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND.... When only the BEST will do, Call T.J. O'Brien.... you'll be glad you did. ,
