My husband and I recently purchased our first house with Justin and I cannot recommend him enough!! Not only was he super attentive to what we wanted, he helped us navigate the daunting process of purchasing our dream house. He is an expert on Carbondale and the surrounding area and is passionate about keeping Carbondale and it’s historic homes beautiful. He answered all of our questions without making us feel like we didn’t know what we were doing. He truly advocated for us during our process and we are so thrilled with how our purchase turned out. He was always available when we needed him! He by far has the most professional and accurate pictures of his listings and you can tell he is passionate about helping others find their homes. Justin did a great job as the realtor on the sale of my home in Carbondale. He was quick and responsive to my request as well as the buyers. As I had relocated out of state, Justin went above and beyond my expectations for assisting the buyer with requests that I was unable to attend to promptly.

Working with Justin was a great experience! He made buying our first home fun, simple, and anxiety free! Justin understood the local market and worked hard to get us what we needed from the house, the bank, and the city. Justin is very knowledge about homes in general and helped us think about what we wanted to look for and or get checked out in the houses we visited. He was very communicative with us throughout the process and answered our questions quickly. Texting and emailing was a breeze which was great because we are busy people with crazy schedules. Basically, Justin made the entire search and process super comfortable for us and helped us find a great home. We could not possibly be more enthusiastic about recommending him!

When I separated from the Navy after 14 years, my husband and I had a new baby, a 2 year old, and we were selling our home in Virginia and buying a new home in Illinois to move into without ever seeing it! It was a nerve wrecking transition, but Justin made it Soooooo much easier! He made sure we weren’t going to end up in a home we didn’t love, and helped with all aspects of this transition. Meeting him at the house with him having a huge friendly smile when we just arrived from Virginia and to see the house for the first time in person and get the key was a great experience! We love our home and have been enjoying it ever since! Justin was always available for my many many questions, calls and texts, and he set our minds at ease!

Justin listed our property in the fall, just as we were entering the slow holiday season. He had several good suggestions about why that might be a favorable time to put a property on the market, which we hadn't thought of on our own. He came prepared with comps and with a marketing plan, and he was open to our ideas about other ways to increase exposure. We're very picky about getting prompt and complete feedback from a realtor, and Justin responded favorably when we asked him to keep us informed about developments as soon as anything was going on. We had an offer about 3 weeks after listing, and couldn't have been happier!

Justin sold me my home and it was a great experience! He worked really hard to help me find a house that would meet my family's needs and when we ran into a hiccup-- a bidding war for the home my heart was set on-- he kept me in the know. In the end, I got the house. He's a professional, hardworking, great guy and I would highly recommend him!

Buying my first home was a frightening experience; but the whole process, from searching for a place to call our own, all the way to closing was made easy and enjoyable because I had the best Realtor in Southern Illinois, Justin Zurlinden. If there is one word that I could use to describe Justin, it would be "diligent". No matter the issue, no matter the time of day, if I had a question or concern, I knew that Justin would always be there for me. Justin displayed very impressive knowledge of the local area, was on-top of every area of the home-buying process, responded to me in an always timely and appropriate manner, helped us negotiate the price that was right for us and walked with us on every step of our journey. If you want a Realtor who will work for you, one who wants to see you in your dream home as much as you do, and who has the professional experience to see you through, then I cannot recommend enough Justin Zurlinden.
