Jill is a phenomenal realtor, and I would recommend her to anyone house hunting in the Ithaca area. My fiance and I met Jill through a local first time home buyer course -- her interest in helping first time home buyers really stood out to us, especially in this highly competitive market. Jill was very knowledgeable about the Ithaca area, and showed us many homes. She was transparent about her process and openly expressed concerns she had about certain homes we saw. We never felt pressured to put in an offer on a house we were uncertain about. Jill also has a fun personality, which was awesome considering how much time is spent together throughout the search process. Part way through the process, my fiance and I decided to relocate outside of the Ithaca area, so we didn't end up buying a house while working with Jill. However, I am confident that if we stayed in the Ithaca area, Jill would have guided us through the closing process smoothly.

If you work with Jill, you’re going find out just how knowledgeable, confident, talented, dedicated, funny, and kind she is. It was her incredible skill and intuition that encouraged us to place a competitive bid on a wonderful house that we now own. I know so many Realtors have rave reviews from happy clients, but seriously, Jill is awesome and really good at what she does. Stop reading these reviews and go contact her already. Go!

This was my first home buying experience. The entire process was seamless, and she was someone I could put my trust in to help me find a home that would fit both my personality and lifestyle. There was no rush to the home buying process, and I felt that I could go at my own pace to find what I wanted, as this was an enormous financial commitment. Jill came highly recommended by my landlord, and she was incredible to work with. Jill was both flexible and punctual when there was a house I wanted to visit. I am so incredibly happy with the house Jill was able to help me find.

We reached out to Jill Rosentel with the Carol Bushburg agency to get a sense of the value and salability of our home. Jill scheduled a meeting where we discussed the sale process, and the steps included in getting an idea of the market value of our home. We were pleased with our initial contact, and entered into a contract with Jill. While trying to determine the greatest value, Jill found that we were “unique” in that our home didn’t fit any of the categories which typically define a style or design. Jill shared some results of her search which we all agreed didn’t fit our description. Jill finally settled on what she thought was on the high side of a fair asking price, and we were thrilled. Jill made helpful suggestions of low cost changes we could make to enhance the appearance of the grounds as well as the residence. She offered hints on displaying certain items, and removing others from view during a showing. When we were “on the market”, Jill kept us informed with updates on a regular basis and was always upbeat about the potential for a sale. We received an offer, and Jill guided us along with what our options were, schedules we needed to meet, and what was expected of us as sellers. All in all we had a very positive experience. We sold our home for a much greater amount than we had anticipated and feel it was through Jills understanding of her job, her understanding of the market and her willingness to use all available resources to make a sale for her clients.

Jill was our sellers agent, and she and her team at Carol Bushberg Real Estate did a fantastic job! Jill was incredibly easy to work with, gave helpful advice on how to prepare our home for listing, and really listened to us. She has extensive knowledge of the local market and knew exactly how to increase traffic to our home. We had an offer within four days and were very pleased with the entire process. Jill is impressive, and it's no wonder that she's held onto "Ithaca's Best Realtor" for years now.

I had a wonderful experience with Jill. She is warm and friendly (and funny) and helped us negotiate with speed and ease. She helped connect me to other services in the community that fit my needs, and was adept at discussing the pros and cons of various choices that we needed to make in purchasing a home.

Jill is fantastic! We were very apprehensive about buying in Ithaca because of how competitive the market is but with Jill helping navigate we had a smooth, dare I say effortless, experience. Here are just a few of the ways Jill rocks: She’s soooo down to earth, not sales-pitchy at all...she’s authentic. She really wants to understand her clients in order to help them find the right place. We were looking for a home with an accessory rental apartment and that had some need for improvements/updates. She knew the questions we needed to ask the sellers and the Village to be sure the apartment was rentable, etc. She worked with the seller’s agent to be sure some needed repairs were completed before the sale was finalized. And she gave us great suggestions for real estate service providers. I would absolutely look to Jill again as our real estate agent and would highly recommend her to anyone. By the way, we never saw anything in Jill that would indicate that negative reviewer has any clue what they’re talking about. Just call her. She’s awesome!

We had the best experience working with Jill! We really appreciated how she took the time to get to know us and understood exactly what we were looking for. We let her know when we'd be in town and she made it a priority to schedule time to lead us from place to place. We loved that she was patient and honest - pointing out things that she knew might be an issue down the road and encouraging us to take our time until we found the perfect fit for us. We finally found that perfect fit and couldn't be happier. We highly recommend working with Jill!
