This is the second time we've used Darcy to sell our house. Both times she was able to sell in a depressed real estate market. She goes above and beyond, and is the absolute best. One example of her going above and beyond is the text messaging chat late one evening. Highly, highly recommend!

Darcy did an outstanding job for us getting our home ready to sell as well as following through when we were moving, to help us make it shine for the new first time buyers. She even helped my wife move furniture, make the kitchen spotless and vacuum the carpets before we moved out. I don't know of any Realtor that would give up so much of her time to make our move happen. She became a friend in the process and made sure that all documents were amended in a timely manner to support a very tight closing date! We would strongly recommend her to anyone selling their home in Vermont!

We could not have asked for a better realtor to help us buy our first home. Darcy helped us through every step with kindness, honesty, and humor. She was always available to make showings work with my hectic schedule and never balked at any of our first-time homebuyer questions or anxieties. What could have been an unusually stressful experience (due to Chittenden County's low inventory) was actually smooth and peaceful. That was entirely because of Darcy's commitment and demeanor. She also knows every inch of Chittenden County and almost everyone in it. She always had a recommendation for every professional we needed along our road to the closing table. We first met Darcy Handy of the Darcy Handy Group while looking to purchase a home in Vermont. Not being from the area, we were fortunate to find our expert. From the moment we met Darcy, she was extremely easy to work with and had a knack for exceptional client service. Darcy is the type of realtor that makes you feel like you’re her only client! It seemed as if she would drop everything in her schedule and join us when we wanted to tour a house! She was accessible 24x7 through phone and text and went the extra mile to get to know our taste and to help us find a home that met our needs. Darcy toured every property with us personally. She was with us throughout the entire process each time (we are repeat customers). This individual was able to help us navigate the entire process and continues to follow up with us to this day and we appreciate her extremely high level of dedication. Darcy was our realtor when we purchased a second home at the height of the pandemic wave sweeping across Vermont. The market was so crazy that the "usual way" of buying a home became a rapidly-shifting morass of new practices. Darcy remained calm and reassuring, and her knowledge of the process and contacts with a local appraiser helped keep things on an even keel. She was extremely responsive to calls and questions.

Darcy is a consummate professional. She listed our home in Fairfax, Vermont while we were in North Carolina and she took care of everything from start to finish. It sold at nearly asking price and was under contract in just a couple of weeks. Darcy communicated regularly everything we needed to know. Selling our house was probably the most stressful thing I have ever had to do, but Darcy made the whole process much easier. Anytime I found a house we wanted to look at she contacted the owners or other realtors and we went and saw it. If I had any questions about what we needed to be doing to make our house more desirable she was there with the answers. If I had a problem and was stressing out about it she told me how to fix it. Even when we had a couple deals fall through due to an inspection and bad timing she helped us get up and go forward. When we were at the last straw and ready to take the house down we got a buyer. She ended up getting us our asking price which we were convinced we were going to have to lower. It was a long process but she was there the whole time making it much easier. I 100% would recommend using her as a realtor.
