Blake and The Davenport Group were incredible in helping sell my mother's home. The house needed major renovations to make it market-ready and Blake and his team handled everything, from managing the various subcontractors, ensuring repairs were completed in a timely manner, to following up on every detail to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. They staged the house beautifully and marketed the house on every platform. The house was under contract within a few days. What's more, my father had recently passed away and Blake was so kind and empathetic throughout the process. Having him take care of the every aspect of selling the home while we were going through a difficult time for our family gave us peace of mind. I could not recommend Blake and The Davenport Group more!

Blake did a fantastic job of helping us sell our townhouse in Alexandria, VA!His advice and guidance was invaluable at every step of the process, including finding professional and reasonably priced contractors to paint, repair, and prepare the home for listing; photographing, staging, and listing the property; and of course marketing, negotiating, and selling the house. In particular, I’d like to thank him for rescuing our family when our chosen contractors quoted us a significantly higher price than expected to paint and repair the property, and he stepped in with a new contractor who was able to get everything done quickly, professionally, and at a significantly reduced cost. This was especially important because we were rushing to get the repairs and painting done ASAP, and we did not have time for a lengthy contractor search process. In addition, Blake handled the sales negotiations masterfully, and was able to ensure prior to the inspection that the buyer would either accept the property or cancel (and would not ask for repairs or a credit). This provided us with peace of mind that there would be no unexpected surprises. I highly recommend Blake for your real estate needs.

As first time home buyers, my husband and I couldn't recommend Blake Davenport & Colton Reid more if you're looking for realtors in Reston, VA! We attended a free first time homebuyer workshop Blake organized in 2023 and had to press pause on some of our plans that fall, but he kept in touch and we were able to engage in the summer of 2024. He provided us with useful frameworks for aligning on a North Star home, provided quick + comprehensive support for any questions we had along the way between himself & Colton, and invested time educating us on all elements of the home buying process with our goals in mind. We ended up closing on our dream home within our budget & below list while keeping the inspection contingency in place with a favorable interest rate. Blake immediately set realistic expectations of what to expect during closing, gave suggestions on what to prioritize, and him + Colton helped coordinate connections to various vendors throughout the process which helped my husband and I tremendously during a busy season in our life.
