We listed our home on Zillow as For Sale By Owner and clearly stated “no realtors please.” Just a few days later, we began receiving unsolicited texts from Rylee, a member of the "Silka Team" trying to sell herself. She acknowledged seeing our "no realtors please" and continued messaging us anyway begging for a meeting. When I asked her to stop, she responded with a sarcastic remark and made a rude, dismissive comment about our asking price. I have screenshots of the entire exchange but unfortunately have no way to attach them here. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful - exactly why we chose not to work with an agent in the first place. And after this experience, we’ll never work with Century 21.
My husband passed away suddenly from COVID on March 7, 2021. Grief, stress, confusion, chaos followed. My home was cleared out & renovated for resale w/the help of my husband’s brother through spring & summer. We contacted Century 21, Mr Adam Slivka, to come over & assess the home for resale. All the paperwork on my part was handled by this realtor, virtual tour of house, & mobs of prospective buyers immediately followed. Once an offer came through, I literally sat back & Adam did it all through the closing. In the blink of an eye, this home was sold. Adam Slivka is the most phenomenal realtor I’ve dealt with in 40 years. I’ve moved 5-6 times in my life, and never had a sale so quick, so easy, and so so professional. I am elated we picked Adam. Adam was great to work with!! Being a military family, we found ourselves needing to find a home in PA, a state we knew nothing about, all while living in TN. He made our home purchase such a smooth process. He is very knowledgeable of the neighborhood areas and the schools. Even introduced us to a cute little coffee shop. He handled our contract negations incredibly well - getting us the best deal!! You will not be disappointed with Adam as your agent. Him and his assistant are top notch.
