I want to take a minute to say how much I appreciated working with Shawn at Sulek & Experts Real Estate in St. Clairsville. He was courteous, straight to the point, and never beat around the bush. He gave us the real view of every detail, which I honestly respected because there was no nonsense, just honest guidance.Shawn was also incredibly encouraging through the whole process. He kept in close contact, always called or messaged with updates, and checked in often so we never felt left in the dark. That kind of communication makes a huge difference, especially when you’re dealing with a house that needs work and a lot of moving parts.I found Shawn through numerous excellent referrals, and it turned out he was the most recommended for a reason. He told us exactly what needed updated or fixed, and he gave smart recommendations on what would help the house sell faster and attract more buyers. That kind of practical advice was priceless.He had more patience than most people would, and he never lost his calm cool demeanor, even when things around us got stressful. I was often stuck in the middle trying to mediate problems and calm my husband down, and Shawn never let that shake him. He stayed steady, professional, and reassuring the whole time. We listed our house in January and signed with Shawn and Sulek through September, so I was worried it would take forever to sell because the house was older and needed a lot of updating. Shawn kept assuring us it would likely sell before then, and he was right. Even after the first two potential buyers fell through, he stayed on top of everything and kept moving forward. The third time was the charm, and everything went smoothly, even ahead of the predicted closing date. On top of selling our home, Shawn also helped us find the right house in Bellaire that fit our budget and was move-in ready, which was not easy because we had to be very careful financially. He even helped make the contingency work for us, and we honestly could not have done it without him.Shawn is one of a kind, and he was every bit as good as all the recommendations said he would be. He always greeted us with a good morning or good afternoon, kept us informed, and truly went above and beyond from start to finish. We are very grateful for everything he did for us, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
