I had the opportunity to work with Jeff and his Mom Ruth in the selling process of my parents' home and we had such a good experience, I don't see how we can thank them enough. My parents had bought their house in Merced with Ruth as their realtor, in about 2010. My Dad spoke very highly of her business over the years, I was very familiar with the name Nightengale, and especially when my parents considered selling and moving closer to my sister in Sacramento (which they never got a chance to, together). Well in September 2024 my Dad suddenly became ill and passed away quite quickly and tragically. My Mom who is disabled, could not live alone and with my sister in Sacramento and me in Oakland, we needed to pack up and move her out ASAP. She (and we) could not deal with sorting through everything, or the cleaning, junk hauling, estate sale, repairs, you name it. Ruth and Jeff worked as a great team, doing literally EVERYTHING for us while we were out of town with other life challenges. There was so much to do and so many repairs we had no idea about. They stayed within our budget while making the home look beautiful and finding the most wonderful family to purchase the home. They truly went above and beyond and were nothing short of saints, patient, efficient, professional. Amazing people! Jeff sent me detailed photos so we could see how things looked all redone, and they got us the exact selling price we were hoping for. My Mom made a great profit. I would ONLY use Jeff and Ruth for my real estate needs. There is a clear reason for the 5 star reviews!!
I cannot stress enough, Jeff is your guy! It was a pleasure working with Jeff. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He was also very resourceful and helped us with get in contact with third parties ( inspections, lenders, repairs). What was very important to us was that he was laid back and easy to work with, he never pressured us or made us feel rushed, and was always readily available. He stayed in touch even after we closed to make sure everything was going well with the move in. He also advocated for us and was vested in what was in our best interest. As first time home owners we are grateful that we went with Jeff and would go through him again .
Jeff is definitely a go-getter and is willing to make himself available any time to accommodate his clients. His knowledge of the local area and attention to what his clients voice as desireable are assets to his customer service skills. Jeff will definitely find a house that meets his client's needs and wants.
