My husband and I spent a couple of years trying to find our forever home. We worked with many realtors during this process due to looking for houses in many states. Unfortunately, when we finally found the house that we decided to go with, we got stuck with literally the worst realtor that we have ever encountered in our history of buying houses. Peggy White will talk a good game, when you can get in touch with her, but she does not live up to her words. I really wanted to believe in her. She seemed to be so nice, but it was all a sham. Perhaps the house that we wanted to buy wasn't going to provide a big enough paycheck for her.She almost always had an excuse for us when she did not follow through on something that she said that she would do. Some examples include a broken laptop, blaming her secretary, COVID, and just being too busy.Her dealings with us appeared shady at times as well. For example, she spoke with the appraiser behind the scenes, admittedly. The appraised value of the house conveniently came out to the exact asking price of the house. Peggy would also consistently lie to us and leave us hanging. For example, we told her that we needed a water sample to be tested from the well. Two weeks later, with nothing accomplished, we asked her again about this because we had deadlines to meet for our lender. She told us that she just couldn't get in touch with anyone. My husband called the health department that day and got in touch with someone immediately. That person said that he could send someone out there that day as well. We didn't own the property and we had to work with Peggy, so of course that didn't happen. We had to continue to wait on her. Peggy's consistent lack of professionalism and commitment to us resulted in a delayed closing. We had to re-schedule our uHaul, pay some additional fees, redo paperwork, and move in on a tight schedule. I write all of this to hopefully help someone else in the selling or buying experience. If you're looking for a good realtor, please do not choose Peggy White.

I have nothing but FANTASTIC things to say about Peggy. This was our first home purchase and I can honestly say without a doubt we could not have imagined going through this process with anyone else but her. She is the most kind, honest, transparent, and trusting person and extremely knowledgeable in regards to both buying and selling a home. We are so unbelievably thankful and grateful to have found her through Zillow!! Without a doubt recommend her as a realtor. We love you Pegs! Love, Sarah and Neil :)

Great personality. Worked diligently to help me sell my house. She sold my house in a month in a very tough market at the price I wanted. Later she helped me buy another house. Would never go with another realtor.

Peggy is the best! She had a fabulous work ethic, she’s knowledgeable, a true joy to work with and her team is just as wonderful. I recommend Peggy and her team to anyone who will listen!! Peggy listed our home and sold it in a matter of weeks and also helped find us our new, beautiful home. We couldn’t be happier!

Constantly made excuses as to why she wasn't showing the house or as to why she didn't have open houses. Weather, slow market etc. Often suggested things I needed to do to the house but she knew up front that there would be no additional upgrades. I turned the house over to another realtor after 6 months and this realtor sold it in just a few weeks. Shouldn't be your first choice.

The best realtor in the state, hands down. Peggy went above and beyond to find my husband and I a house in Kanawha City that met all of our needs, but was also within our price range. She worked diligently to find our perfect home. This realtor is very knowledgeable, professional, and she treated us like family. Competency and compassion are a rarity in the real estate world. She possesses both. We will forever use Peggy White!

Awful Realtor, Made an offer on house and after inspection the house was not in the shape of which it seemed to be. I was backing out of the offer and was pressured to stay in and see what could happen. Finally after hours of arguing I finally got my point across that I wanted to back out of the offer. Then they was refusing to send me the papers to drop them as my realtor. Contacted her several way; email. phone, texts, and still couldn't get an answer. Will never go through Old Colony again as my realtor for this reason.
