I would absolutely work with Marisa again. I had a seamless selling experience despite me being out of state. As a broker myself licensed in another state, I have definitely worked with realtors, both good and bad. When I say that Marisa is one of the best that I’ve ever worked with throughout my real estate career, it’s an huge understatement. Marisa took my transaction and ran with it after my home didn’t sell being originally listed with another agent. Marisa got my house under contract in 13 days and negotiated hard in my best interest. Not only did she have everything covered before I could send a reminder, but she even did things that I didn’t expect, like helping to clean my home when there was a mixup with the housekeeper before the final walkthrough. She has an excellent team and they are so easy to work with. I highly recommend Marisa for anyone buying or selling a home in Colorado Springs!

In 2023, we received orders to Ft. Carson and began house hunting. I had unknowingly saved several helpful posts—some from Mike Lindsay, others from Marisa Lindsay—without realizing they were a husband-and-wife team! The market was intense, homes were flying, and on-post housing wasn’t an option. We ended up renting, and shortly after, my husband deployed, so we paused our search.When he returned later that year, we started looking again, this time with retirement in mind. I went straight back to my saved home-buying folder and reread Mike’s insights on VA loans and Marisa’s helpful home-buying tips. But once again, life changed—his retirement packet was pulled, and he was sent on another deployment, this time for 380 days. We renewed our lease and put things on hold again.He finally came home on May 13, 2025. Just a week later, on May 20, our landlord informed us that they were selling the home we were renting—and gave us 90 days to either buy it or move.That’s when we officially reached out to Mike and Marisa. From the beginning, they were kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Marisa even came to our rental to walk us through our options, providing honest and thoughtful advice. She took the time to connect with our autistic son, answering his questions with patience and helping him feel secure and included—something that meant the world to us. She let us explore homes at our own pace and helped us sort through all the details when we were ready to decide.Buying a home is stressful under normal circumstances, but doing it while reintegrating after deployment, supporting our son’s needs, and navigating senior year with our oldest was a lot.
